Jahannam, Hell2 This word also, like its opposite Paradise, is of Jewish origin. Peace, Jack and Wakas. Since you have responded to my call; it would be correct to assume that you both consider yourselves as Linguists of Classic Arabic, the language of AlKitab.

Your assumption would be incorrect, but you are free to make it.

Hence, if one were to accept this as a word of classic Arabic. Following issues deserve some consideration and explanation.

1. If it is true? Do you want to re-invent Classic Arabic. If yes why so?
2. If it is not 5 stem pattern word, does it has Affix or Suffix? If so what are those?
3. If it is neither of above two? Then, is it a combination of stem/roots. If so what are those?
4. If one can not answer all above; are we willing to accept that language of AlKitab is lost language? Hence, needs rediscovering, or else one can continue to live in delusional and hallucination world of tradition; which has gotten us no where in hundreds of years so far.
5. If none of the above, one has to at the least accept the notion, that this is not a word of Classic Arabic and barrowed from another language. Hence, Classic Arabic or Qureshi Arabic afterall is not so chaste as claimed to be.

Firstly, I believe you missed one possible option out it could be a proper noun.

Secondly, to reflect upon your point 5, please see my first post in this thread.

Just to get records straight and this discussion to progress in a rationale manner. I submit following.

1. The classic Arabic is a language, in which words are based on ?Stem/root Pattren Morphemes?
2. The words are based either on 3 radical nominal stem pattern morphemes, or
3. 4 radical nominal stem pattern morphemes.
4. Furthermore, these words could have either Affixes or Suffixes.

Now based on this, let us analyze word in question. Jack says it?s pattern is Jiim-ha-nun-miim. However, it is evident that this is not so, but instead it is Jiim-ha-nun-nun-miim based on presence of a sahada on nun. Instead of four it has five 5 radical nominal stem pattern, never described so far in Classic Arabic.
