Ayman or yamiin literally means right, right hand or oath.

Why ayman doesn't mean slave??

"And tell the believing females to lower their gaze and keep covered their private parts, and that they should not reveal their beauty except what is apparent, and let them put forth their shawls over
their cleavage. And let them not reveal their beauty except to their husbands, or their fathers, or fathers of their husbands, or their sons, or the sons of their husbands, or their brothers, or the sons of their brothers, or the sons of their sisters, or their women, or those maintained by their oaths, or the male servants (taabi'i/) who are without need."

taabi'i/ literaly means disciple, follower, but it also have alternative meaning like "subject, vassal, dependent, appendant, subservient, tributary".

I mean taab'i can also be mean servant or slave like "abdi".

So if we translate "ayman" as slave, indeed there will be a pleonasm/repetition.

Ma is not a person, that is clear, the persons over something of whom other has domain or authority are called by the thing itself, and the whole is shortened meaning the persons who have that thing over which others yamin malakat. I thought it was obvious, the same as when somebody asks for somebody else's hand in fact is not asking for her hand but for the whole of the person in marriage.

Take note Women other than the sanctified-prohibited are declared lawfully permissible-knot liquefied for you.

I think like some other people here think, that the phrase means those you are not married to but they are not married either, fiance/e. However, I believe that it is not okay just to have sex from right to left when it pleases you and a possibly pregnancy is a binding event. If you make the woman pregnant then you are stuck with responsibilities if you are truly a Muslim.

it is a "romantic" perception. I like the way you thinked. But it is not true.
Concubinage is the kind of relation practiced now in many european countries.
in these relations, women have no "rights".
Quran says in 4-24, that "nikah contract" is an obligation with mohsanat (women with no financial needs).
but for women who have not "where to go", it can be tolerated.

Nikah Contract is mainly "a financial agreement". Married women have to take "wages" for the job.

1671 And God has preferred some of you over others in provision. Yet, those who have been preferred will not relinquish their provision to those who MALAKAT AYMANOHOM, that they may become equal in it. Is it the favor of God that they deny?

I think that mamalakat is a category or relationship between blood unrelated persons that entitles the held person to the protection, or the oversight, or the guarantee of the holder, obliging the held to faithfulness in whatever sphere he or she has undertaken the pledge.

Neither of the five means MMA and I believe that its definition is described in the Quran and not in Lexicons or dictionaries.

O Prophet, We have made lawful to you the WOMEN to whom you have given dowries and what is owned (by) your oath, OF those whom Allah has given thee as (females) spoils of war and the daughters of your paternal uncles and paternal aunts, and of your paternal and maternal aunts who migrated with you; and any believing woman who gives herself to the Prophet, if the Prophet wishes to take her in marriage. This is only for you and not any other believer. We know the duties We have imposed on them concerning their wives and what is owned (by) their oaths, so that there should be no fault in you. Allah is the Forgiving and Merciful. (33 50)

Those surviving females, who lost everything in the war including their families and relatives and do not have any financial support and are at the mercy of the invading enemy and / or the people of her own country are called MMA but only after when they are hired for their SERVICES by means of an oath. Similarly all females who do not have parents, relatives to support them and no proper shelter can become MMA once they are owned by an oath by the believers for their SERVICES.

There are many maids working in the homes but all are not MMA

And whoever (singular) among you has not the power to prolong the marrying of a free believing women (let him marry) what is owned (by) your oath FROM your (plural) believing FEMALE SERVANTS. Allah knows best your belief, you are from each other. Marry them with the permission of their people (their owners (by) oath) and give them their due compensation what is reasonable (and do not be) lustful and do not take them as secret lovers. But when they (become) free (from the bondage and are married) and if they commit unlawful sex, they shall be liable to half the punishment of a free woman. That is for those of you who fear fornication, but it is better for you to be patient. Allah is the Forgiver, the Most Merciful. (4 25)

There are many female servants but the ones who are owned (by)means of an oath are called MMAs
