The Online Temple should be build with the sweat of true keyboard warriors! Haha, p. No seriously, why did you say that. Why would an Online Temple need donations?? It's a place to meet and search for God because of Hes Word therein. Let's keep that space clean.

Well i recently started thinking about it, as a student-programmer. An online temple build by as much as possible. Everyone that is a Monotheist is welcomed to contribute.

What features? Let's add as much features as possible if they are in line with the word of God.

Thinking about features like, going into the online temple, studying the word of God, having a chat with believers, etc.

I will really like it. I use to visit facebook and free-minds a lot lately. Why not building an online temple?

Let's keep gold and silver out of this idea. Because it will only ruine this project. Building a webapp does take only some time and effort from the programmers. Hosting a website today can't be compared with building a building with stones etc.

Anyways, i wil try to make a post about this. Everyone that has an idea, or can even programm, please feel free to contribute.

Regarding movements such as the "Quran alone movement" -

I've done a decent amount of Google searching, and I can't find any forum websites at all (let alone ones that have a large thread database and frequent activity, like this one) that only adhere to the teachings of the Torah or Bible.

The most forum activity I've seen from Sola Scriptura Christians and Karaite Jews are a few threads here and there started by curious members in the main Christian and Jewish forums. (My my, we must be special over here.)

i do not intend it to be broken into any sect, so anyone from any faith is welcome, and followers of any of gods revealed scriptures.

i did decide to put the project on hold, and focus on my lord and purify myself and my intentions, as i was being distracted from god. but praise him he gave me a very huge wake-up call

The "Sola Scriptura-er" are mingling with everyone on many forum and churches....

I am currently, god willing, working towards such a project, islamtogether.org , god willing, i will message you still, it is quite late though, so i may not be able to explain everything tonight, have a look over at islamtogether.org it has some explanation/general outline, and links to other updates etc, I am taking some time atm to focus on my lord though, so i have put the project on hold, but it seems, god willing, and i am making alot of contacts that will, god willing, be able to contribute/support, as i cant, and dont wish to, do it alone, my goal is for everything to be community orientated, with Gods support.

What about building an online mosque-space? Where people can chat and discuss their understanding of the Quran? We could build this project then with all the programmers we can find that think in the same direction?

I have added you on facebook. And i will use the mail if needed if we are going to work together by the will of God. I am also working on a project now. A site where people can read the Quran in different translations etc. But that is just because i am helping someone.

I am thinking about building a webapp where the brothers and sisters and myself can study the Quran with a POWERFUL search-engine.
