What have we improved our understanding of Qoran on? Can we measure this improvement?
What does improving our understanding of Qoran lead to? How can we be sure?

Some questions that come to mind regarding tackling Qoran.
I would say according to what I read here(in this forum) I do not clearly see how one comes to such a conclusion.
Say a new member visits and ponders /investigates our opinions on Qoran , can they really see an improvement in how we understand Qoran and can they themselves improve it further?

1- Can they be clear on Qoran message on how to lead their life?
2-Can they follow GOD s commands and instructions clearly without any doubts?
3- Can they explain the "controversies" arising from multimeanings words of Qoran?
4-Can they unite on the understanding of the rites/steps of the deen?
5-Can they agree on the definitions of the basics, like Islam, Salat, Zakat, Sawm, Hajj...?
5-Can they be certain about some aspects of Qoran if any?
6-Can they be certain they are guided?

Please discuss or comments freely if you wish. Or add other issues you see/deduce.
GOD bless you all.
Peace.

Peace goodlogic.

There is a lot to mention. Salat, Zakat, Fasting, Hajj etc. I'm still improving though, but compared to yesteryear, I feel I've improved. And I have this forum partly to thank.

Can we measure this improvement?

This is subjective. What one regards understanding, another regards misunderstanding. There really is no objective yardstick to measure how well each member have understood Qur'an.

What does improving our understanding of Qoran lead to? How can we be sure?

Again, this is subjective. We can all agree that improving our understanding of Qur'an lead us to better abide by its teachings and live by truth and justice. But the problem lies in the details. We cannot agree on what the Qur'an defines as it teachings, truth or justice.
Hence, only get a subjective response to this question.

For me, I feel understanding the Qur'an has lead me to multiple conclusions. Chief among them being that things are seldom what they appear to be and nothing is 100% certain. And so, the need to be vigilant and avoid complacency.

Complacency with our position, whether religious or non-religious position is the bane of our existence. See verses; 4135, 1736.

I would say according to what I read here(in this forum) I do not clearly see how one comes to such a conclusion.

I beg to differ. When I came to this forum, I browsed many of the old threads with erudite contribution of folks like ayman, Pazuzu, or Edip. Sure, it does seem quality of contribution has dropped in recent years, but that's expected as almost every thing has been discussed and very few members are active at this point. Less than 10 to be honest.

Just "No". There are just certain grey areas that we have to admit. The earlier we admit them, the better.

Is your point not general about civilisations from BC to now?
I mean if we look at warfare, they fought each other with sticks, then swords, then gun powder, then bullets, then aeroplanes and tanks...etc.

Hunam rifghts history also shows this trend from slaves to more free people...etc.

Then religions from mine is better and the only one to dissecting the contents...etc.

I am trying to specifically see if Qoran s continuous interpretations are helping us improve our life. I am aware of "improve what?",this is left to views of folks here.
However I will give my opinion below

I tried to identify my aim to study Qoran. I wanted to know what Qoran said.
Have I improved my understanding of its verses?
Yes, because I know more about it now than I did back in 2010. Yet there are a lot of verses that I still do not understand . And there may be corrections of what I think I understand now about many other verses.

Have I improved my life using my understanding of some verses?
Yes, I am certain of GOD s existence and authorship, hence I developped a constant awareness of GOD s presence and this is having a positive effect on my general behaviour and well being. I am trying to be GOD conscious at all times which is reducing the possibility of committing crimes ,having evil thoughts or opposing GOD s instructions as I yuunderstand them now.

Have other members helped my understanding of Qoran?
This is where I am not sure. I would say some members challenged ssome of my views, but my efforts of checking and involving GOD has helped me gain confidence in the system I use which is GOD Alone policy in dealing with Qoran as far I am concerned.

Is the forum helpful to people who want to understand Qoran?
There is no doubt that the forum is very useful. I am not sure it helps any individual as far as the criteria of following Qoran goes. I have no doubt that the individual ,as a basis, needs to have the right intention of why they want to chreck Qoran.

I will stop here and elaborate further GOD willing, as the views keep coming.
GOD bless you.
Peace.

example a person having no LEGS use helping sticks.
then advance to moving chair
then adavnce to artifical legs
then advance to original working leg ( future tecnology of creating artifical bodies fully functioned).

in religious matters ?advancement? become a sound of DEATH due to which people like to live with STICKS provided to them by managers of God who are serving god office in churches mosques and synogauge, mandirs etc.

if you go against them so DARE it and see u will b ?on YOUR own? helpless in society.

they make your working brain like midless brain who needs sticks of help by accepting ideas of specific label.

same happened/happening with quran
history is filled with lot of sorrows and civil wars of early quranic followers same like what happend with all early followers of nations/religions.

invasion sometimes worked as a same goal for politics using religion as a weapon in this way no more war criminals get trial in the end. on the other hand lot of womens, gold, land, slaves(kids) they get it as a reward from god.

its interesting becoz thats how its all designed
