I agree with the verse if that is what you mean. There are people who are more knowledgabe and God asks us to go to them if we are in doubt. But i also believe that no on on this planet has the complete knowledge of the Quran. The complete message is with God. So only God can possess the true and complete knowledge.

AYAT means sign, not verse.

Hey Jaxal

I would like to see what do you think about this verse

http//mail.forte.com.au/ahmed/quran/3-7.gif

in the article, they say

Ayah 7 in Surat Al-^Imran means In relation to this ayah, Ibn ^Abbas said "I am one of those who are firmly rooted in the knowledge of the Religion." It is well known that Ibn ^Abbas is generally regarded as being foremost among the Companions in the explanation of the meanings of the ayat of the Qur'an.

but do you think that for the Ayat Mutshabahat this verse means that the people with knowledge will know the meaning beside Allah (swt)?

obvioulsy that is the understanding as seen above from the article, but do you think the verse may also mean that ONLY Allah knows the meaning and the people with knowledge will only accept it because it is from Allah without being able to know the meaning?

do you understand my question mate?,let me elaborate just in case, I think that the WAW between "Allah" and "Al Rasikhon fi Al Elm" does not necessarily means they shared the knowledge of the true meaning of the verses with Allah, rather they just accept it as vague verses because it is from Allah while they did not know what the true meaning is, their knowledge that was mentioned may mean the knowldge that this vague verses are from Allah as well as the well established meaning verses, I lean to understand it this way because of the end of the verses where we read, that the people with knowledge say we believe in it as we believe in the well established meaning verses because both are from Allah, if they really managed to know the true meaning, do you think they need to say that?

cheers
