230-Behold thy Lord said to the angels "I will create a vicegerent on earth." They said "WILT THOU PLACE THEREIN ONE WHO WILL MAKE MISCHIEF THEREIN AND SHED BLOOD? Whilst we do celebrate Thy praises and glorify Thy holy (name)?" He said "I know what ye know not."
231-And He taught Adam the nature of all things; then He placed them before the angels and said "Tell Me the nature of these if ye are right."
232-They said "GLORY TO THEE OF KNOWLEDGE WE HAVE NONE SAVE THAT THOU HAST TAUGHT US in truth it is Thou who art perfect in knowledge and wisdom."

Question in verse 230 the angels ask Allah ?Wilt thou place therein one who will make mischief therein and shed blood?? How did they know about it?
While in verse 232 they say ?Glory to Thee of knowledge we have none save that Thou hast taught us?

1536-(Iblis) said "O MY LORD! GIVE ME THEN RESPITE TILL THE DAY THE (DEAD) ARE RAISED."
1537-(Allah) said "Respite is granted thee
1538-"Till the Day of the Time Appointed."

1539-(Iblis) said "O my Lord! because Thou hast put me in the wrong I will make (wrong) fair-seeming to them on the earth and I will put them all in the wrong
1540-"Except Thy servants among them sincere and purified (by Thy grace)."

Yet his first victim was Adam.

714-He said "give me respite till the day they are raised up."
715-(Allah) said "BE THOU AMONG THOSE WHO HAVE RESPITE."

Who were these others "those who have respite"

1762-He said "Seest Thou? THIS IS THE ONE WHOM THOU HAST HONORED ABOVE ME! If Thou wilt but respite me to the Day of Judgment I WILL SURELY BRING HIS DESCENDANTS UNDER MY SWAY ALL BUT A FEW!"

Questions why did Allah grant iblis the respite till the Day of Judgment? How powerful is Iblis? Who gave him those powers? Does he have the knowledge of the unseen? How did he know about Adam?s decedents? And that the dead will be raised?
