There is something that hadn't occured to me before and I wonder what others thought.

You see my mind under sunni teachings starting from childhood has been severely corrupted. One of these maybe that some of us in our conscience may still think that the Prophet may have received some other instructions besides the Qur'an. Most of us have bought on to the guidance of Qur'an alone but if you are anything like me we are still on a jihad of mind grab.

The mind grab is against the satanic teachings that have afflicted the grey matter like a disease, its only cure is a persistent dose of study of Al-Qur'an. Where there is a will and persistence there is a cure In Sha Allah.

See the problem, believing that the Prophet has received any communique other than the Qur'an insults the Prophets intelligence, his ability to think and rationalise. See the pattern? I mean everything sunnis attribute to the Prophet from their extra Quranic teachings is an insult to his decency, morality and we can add insulting his intelligence to the list.

The more I read the Qur'an the more I think he received these revelations and he was left on his own witts to deal with the revelation and like any other human being he was the first to go through the learning exercise and make mistakes on the way like the rest of us. However, his persistence and dedication is what is praised in the Qur'an, he must have been successful.

Otherwise, if the Prophet received extra Qur'anic teachings would he have committed these mistakes or deliberately go against the will of GOD? I don't think so.

Personally, I am getting the impression indeed the Qur'an is indeed a living account and the Prophets mistakes, and his successes and like the rest of us he had to figure out the meaning and implication of the Qur'an.

Just a few thoughts I wanted to share, its purely gleaned from the impression I get reading the verses and possibly something that I will be picking up evidence for in my next reading.
