JK- No it is not since even if some animals might be classified as having a soul/nafs and could thus NOT BE KILLED ANAMORE, others would still be there where we could be sure that they do NOT have a soul eg cows, sheep, goats, etc. Also there are always certain cognitive and/or other functions which the brains of other species than ourselves could perform better than us. This does NOT however mean that they are overall more intelligent or intellectual since otherwise the chimps would already be sailing through space on star trek but they dont even have bicycles so to draw unreasonable conclusions from these tests would not be right.
