Are their any beasts and birds or is it all about people of different natures?
The ayah mistranslated is 638
Waqaloo lawla nuzzila AAalayhiayatun min rabbihi qul inna Allaha qadirunAAala an yunazzila ayatan walakinnaaktharahum la yaAAlamoona
They say "Why is not a sign sent down to him from his Lord?" Say "Allah hath certainly power to send down a sign but most of them understand not.

Wama min dabbatin fee al-ardiwala ta-irin yateeru bijanahayhi illaomamun amthalukum ma farratna feealkitabi min shay-in thumma ila rabbihim yuhsharoonaThere is not an animal (that lives) on the earth, nor a being that flies on its wings, but (forms part of) communities like you. Nothing have we omitted from the Book, and they (all) shall be gathered to their Lord in the end.

Waallatheena kaththaboobi-ayatina summun wabukmun fee alththulumatiman yasha-i Allahu yudlilhu waman yasha/ yajAAalhuAAala siratin mustaqeeminThose who reject our signs are deaf and dumb,- in the midst of darkness profound whom Allah willeth, He leaveth to wander whom He willeth, He placeth on the way that is straight.

Yes beasts and birds do form communities. This has been observed in nature multiple times. They group together, move togther, fly together, etc. GOD Bless!If they the animals are indeed like us -why do we eat them - as they are to return to their lord also?

If Allah were to punish men for their wrong-doing, He would not leave, on the (earth), a single living creature but He gives them respite for a stated Term When their Term expires, they would not be able to delay (the punishment) for a single hour, just as they would not be able to anticipate it (for a single hour).i think this should have a translation something like

otherwise you will be punishing those who havn't even done wrong , including the creatures, don't you think?
