The Oneness of Allah

When i ask sunnis why they say mohamed rasool Allah they say it is not to glorify mohamed over any other prophet or messenger. it is to state that there is no deity but God and we accept mohamed as a messenger. Nobody else accepted him as a messenger so it is a way to distinguish believers in God's final message from those who rejected it and the messenger.
i know alot of people here have issues with saying mohamed rasool Allah but i think its not really a bad thing, if they don't worship him. Some do and some think he's still alive somehow. but for those that state it to assert the fact that what they follow is islam and quran, i don't see harm in it.
Any thoughts?
Salam sister
The issue is not really believing in Mohammad as Rasool Allah or not, because any Muslim who believes in the Quran, already believes that Mohammad is Rasool Allah and all other prophets who paved the way for Mohammad for that matter
the issue is reciting a human name next to Allah name all life long

JK- You agree with all that and this is the foremost which in ym opinion distingusihes idol worshipping sectarians from Muslims who follow Quran Alone. Yet your bent on interpreting 434 as physical beating in the end. Perhaps your thoughts need to further evolve like mine had to and those of many sis and bros in here. Infact wht is amazing is tht RK wrote as a heading above 434 "Do NOT BEAT your wives". Yet he translates "beat" in the verse. This is a contradiction so the only logical explanation is tht satan caused him to forget this also showing tht RK was just a human who cld make mistakes and we as humans dont have to close our minds. Our understanding of various Quranic verses must continue to evolve. GOD Bless!

Allah-u-Abha! (God is the Most Glorious!)
Thank you for the site... I actually read the site and learned to appreciate the simple message of that chapter in the Qur'an. There is no other god but God alone, and Ey is the Creator, the Maker, the Bestower and the Compassionate, and people have been putting up partners with God, with people, money, and even Prophets (the Manifestations of God, because They manifest the attributes of God much clearer than we do) instead of following Their teachings to praise and worship God alone.
Lord (just a title, Muhammad is not God, lol) Muhammad told us in His Qur'an that God alone is to be worshipped and adored, and people have been worshipping other things to compensate, just because of their feelings than their rationality.
Unto Thee be praise, O Lord my God! I testify that Thou art God, and that there is none other God besides Thee. Thou hast from eternity been immeasurably exalted above the praise of any one except Thee, and far above the description of any of Thy creatures. All created things have borne witness to Thy unity, and every dweller in Thy kingdom hath confessed Thy oneness. The essence of the apprehension of the assured among Thy creatures can never attain unto Thee, and the gem-like utterances with which Thy people have praised and glorified Thee can never hope to ascend unto the atmosphere of Thy holiness. For men?s apprehension of Thee is but the apprehension of Thine own creation; how can it reach up to Thee? And all human praise and glorification of Thee pertain unto Thy servants; how can they be deemed worthy of the court of Thy oneness?

Allahuabha, BOOST!
Thank you for replying! )
"Ey" is just an invented gender-neutral pronoun suggested by a mathmetician named Mr. Spivak. It is a singular gender-neutral pronoun, derived from the forms of "they, their, theirs, them, themselves" with the corresponding "ey, eir, eirs, em, emself" (simply remove the 'th'.
Of course, like all suggestions and reforms in English, they never caught on. However, they are the simplest and most natural-looking of the neologisms made, amongst "sie/hir" "ze" "xe" "it" "they" "thon" and other unaesthetic-looking inventions and reforms, IMMHO. I do not agree with transgenderism, transsexuality or any of the politics regarding it, but I am a gender egalitarian...
Noting me, I know that gender is nothing but human constructs, and our souls themselves are genderless. Thus when I speak of God, I use these Spivak pronouns to exemplify Eir Genderlessness instead of switching between He, She and It (God forbid!) and assigning God male/female in gender or sex when Ey transcends them both.
offtopic D Heheheh...
Ey verily hath dominion over all things,

Thanks for explaining, very interesting indeed.
I agree with the genderlessness of God, although in quran Allah is referred to as "He" ... but i think it is more of a power thing than a gender.

Friend, BOOST,
Allah-u-Abha!But wouldn't that say that "men are thus more powerful than women" when both men and women can have power and can be corrupt with power? ???
Praise the Oneness of God! God is One!

I'm not too sure, so i'm only speculating. but i think both genders have different "powers" i guess if you want to call it that. but the quality of the male's power in physical strength is stronger. so i'm assuming that has something to do with it. but at the same time, God is genderless so you can't say His Power is limited to that of male qualities. Allah is neither male nor female.
dunno thats my take of it.

If only we could all just speak Qur'anic Arabic without having to take classes... gender-neutral pronouns would remove these arbitrary genderings of God, lol.
Thanks for sharing!
