I do worry about these translations as i imagine many if not all are translated as the traditional dominant interpretation. i wonder if in other languages are there a similar amount of interpretations as we see in english. hope they dont all just adhere to the saudi view. i was given a copy once by a saudi as a present of a quran which the government there sponsors to be published. the notes were really embarrassing and the entire interpretation served more as a means to justify saudi law than anything else. unfortunately it is the copy that many non-muslims will read as they are given out for free.
