    Salaams...

Today I broke my fast... No comment on how I broke it...

The question is, what do I do now?

Do I fast an extra fast?

Or do I have to fast 60 extra (As espoused by the traditionalists)? (...That would be tough...)

Does the Quran say anything about this?

    Jazakallah!

      Peace to all,

Do nothing, just say a little prayer to God saying something like "oops God, sorry I broke my fast, please give me strength to continue on"

      Dont worry yourself to death,

      Kurt

        Salaaman Saaretjie,

I believe that whenever you break the fast means you have not fast that day. As simple as that. So, you have to fast another day. But you must ask for Allah's forgiveness as it is compulsory to fast during the month of Ramadhan cosidering you have not fast for one day.

Hope it helps and ask Allah to guide you and forgive you on this issue.

        Regards,
        mmKhan

Please refer to 2-184; either you feed Poor person or you fast another day.

And know that God promiesd that He Forgives all the Sins when we ask for forgiveness. And when He Promises us with something, He means it.
May God Bless you and Forgive you and all of us.
          Peace
