Saudi Arabia - Entry Visa - The Quran
-
Salam.
What do you think would happen, if a person entered Saudi Arabia without any visas, without passport or any kind of I.D.? If that personw as heading towards Mecca, towards the cube.
I mean, they wouldn't kill, would they?
There is so much that makes me angry sometimes ....
Peace.

From what I know Saudi Arabia is run like a police state. If you download their visa forms and read the last few lines, you will see it says that by signing this form you agree to fingerprinting and biometric exam before you will be allowed into SA.
I for the life of me cannot understand why a Quran Aloner would want to enter that country.

Well, i just wanted to visit the place and maybe look for investors or whatever but the more i think about it and the more i read The Quran, i see that going to Saudi Arabia or anywhere in the Mid-East, would be a suicide.
Of course i won't go, i was just curious, i wanted to get some experience but i don't wanna die that way.
Peace.

LOL LOL LOL Alen please I have not laughed so much since I don't know when I read about your plans hahaha.
Don't be offend but it was so fun, I still laughing rotfl
But i get your point and I agree with you that it's insane to not be able to enter more easily if you can prove you are a muslim.
But for me this smells corruptions and hypocricy because if Makka and the kaaba were true holy places it wouldn't be held of criminals like the saudis hmmm.
Peace Sis Majidah

I'm just saying why would you need a permission to enter the sandland, i mean, it's a country of sand, people, what is going on here?Anyways, i don't think i'll be going to Arabia any time soon, maybe never, but i'll tell you this much wahabis will be very angry in the future.

i think the idea of having visas in the first place is perhaps from a practical standpoint - there are around 1.5 billion muslims in the world right? There has to be some sort of regulation to accomodate the sheer numbers of people who come to visit the holy sites....
but of course in countries like saudi - the sad truth is that money talks. you pay for your visa - and even then you may not be granted one! the way the country works is disgusting - it is not only taking advantage - it is exploitation! -
Salam.
See, i wanted to enter Arabia without a visa, just to show them that me, a Muslim, doesn't need a visa to enter a Muslim country and then i'd show them The Quran at the border and argue with them in the nicest way and ask them where in The Quran does it say that i need human's permission to enter the land of sand of one of the planets that God Most Merciful created.
THANK YOU, I'LL BE HERE ALL WEEK! rotfl
Peace.

One argues with reasonable people which unfortunately IMO they are not.

I agree with every word u said.
The situation in some places has become shamefull.

Please guys!
Just by applying for a US visa you have to go through fingerprinting ans stuff. And they ask you questions like do you have criminal record, can you operate bio-chemical weapons etc.
And I really cannot see how the Quran story fits in here, since we have already agreed that God left a lot of issues up to us. And there is a verse in the Quran which says that we do not enter into other peoples houses without permission.
Lets not accuse them for something every single country is entitled to do. -
According to the Quran, there is no compulsion in faith. So why does the religious police in SA force everyone to close shop and go to the masjid at prayer time.
It was a police state long before USA became one!

Peace all
I agree with Bro Dion
KSA may not be a true islamic state but please tell me which country is?
I don't understand why everyone here decided to call saudis evil and saudi arabia bad just because you need a visa to enter. Please do tell, which country in the world does not require a visa for you to enter it? Every country in the world has a right to protect itself plain and simple.

I understand but as a Islamic state, which it isn't, KSA should be a little more gentle towards the outer world, after all, not everybody is crazy about visiting it, right?
I eman, everybody wants to visit USA for 99 reasons but how many people wants to go to Yemen or KSA or Dubai for a vacation? And in Dubai they won't let you in, if they see in your passport that you have visited Israel. How crazy is that?
I guess you're right, BOOST, times have changed.
Peace.
