To be the best!

Salaams,
The quistion is realy what type of people get the best laws for humanity to evolve it so they stop causing pain and sufferring to others? Must we get our hands dirty and go through pain and sufferring or at least see it in action and see its effects- may be every different type of it or will it simply come to us by inspiration?
So did the prophets go through pains and sufferring to realise the best laws to evolve or were they simply handed to them on a plate or rather by inspiration- as some of us (me excluded) here at free minds believe?
Love to know your views..........
God Bless us all.

Salam Simple,,
I believe that prophets suffered the most yet they did not allow - them being aware that they have a choice here- their devilish side to take over. Self-discipline would be one of their main characteristics. -

I think the comparison between "learning" a skill and "feeling" the suffering is not correct. To feel the suffering of others, you do not have to have gone through the same pain. In fact suffering may have a completely opposite effect. For example, some one who has lived a very hard life because of their poverty, suddenly becomes rich. This person will either say I have been there, and it is terrible. I feel how the poor feel and will help them the same way I wished someone would help me.
Or, he would say I have been there, and it is terrible. I will never go there again. I have to hold firm to this money because if I spend it, I will become poor again, and no one will help me. -

I think learning a skill can involve a lot of sweat and hard work.
And if we want to be advisers to the world to show a better way , well that involves a lot more of sweat and hard work before we are ready , before we can be teachers to the world we have to learn/ deduce how the world operate.
So no prophet ever recieved anything sitting idly by, that is without any effort.
Salaams.
