Purpose of our creation

I have just joined this community although I am reading the post for quite some time.
One question that is disturbing me for so long and still I could not find an anwer is WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF OUR CREATION ?
Why GOD has created us? Is it to worship him alone?why r we being put to test.
Is it to redeem our selves as described by Rashad Khalifa? but than again we never asked to be created.This is GOD'S wish.
In his complex structure where a human being is born and tastes death or some one bearly reaches 10 yrs and die so what is the purpose of that human's creation.
Above are just few arguements and there are thousands more.I just want to know from quran what is the purpose of our creation.

my ideas regarding who we are and why are we here goes some thing like this,,When GOD created the first human prototype in heavens, it was a program more advanced than the previous (malikah). it was something like ,moving from windows 98 to xp. This new program was based on open logic so that it could evolve and adopt it self with the changing situations(learning)but whenever you use open logic ,the program is subject to virus attacks as well. simply putting it , your PC cannot be infiltrated if it is not connected to www. but then your PC remains what ever it contains
Once you connect, you have a world of information available. and if you have an open logic to benefit from this info it can change and improve itself but along comes the viruses too.To continue with the story,once God tested this program in heavens , (to his horror) he found that this program can change either ways due to open self programming logic . so he decided to create a train and test scenario.He made human body with earthly materials and allocated the first one to Adam . he then modified the genetic make up and cloned hawa.he put his chosen (previous )programs (malikah) as controllers /monitors to run this academy.(they may have passed a previous test to come up to min criteria to become part of the GOD'S system ,to follow his commands ,and carry out his tasks to certain level of perfection)
so it is not that we are paying for Adam's sins,but we all are the same. God sent us here to train ,test, evolve ,identify and grade the better ones . he has not inbuilt the good attributes but has put it in RAM somewhere to take reference from ,and has been continuously reminding us from time to time through messengers and books, how to improve upon us(programs)positively
Ones who have good wiring , are able to identify this sooner or later and hence cross a certain threshold . but majority will not run anti virus and hence would fail to come up to required standard .At the end the chosen /trained /evolved ones would probably fit in the GOD"S design somewhere accordingly. i have no idea what GOD plans to do with the ones who do not come up to the minimum desired level(after all even they are his creations), there is a chance that he may subject them to harsher conditions (worst than this life on earth)which might develop their correct logic
Viruses ,, some are in built by him for biological survival and we have to keep them in check by taking reference from divine guide lines. Some enter during training, in the shape of wrong lessons and deductions .we have to continuously run anti virus to recognize and purge our systems ,and keep our programs in line with divine design.

What I till now have understood is that we don't have to redeem ourselves. This interpretation of RK will stumble on many contradictions which can be discussed later. Also the idea that we are 'tested' is also false in my eyes.
One of Allah's Attributes is Al-Bari, the Maker. We humans also have this quality, and I believe this urge to create is part of having an ego, an individual mind. This life we only learn how to handle Free Will. In the Next Life we will also have Free Will, which means we can choose evil if we want too, but because we have learned and experienced in this Life, we will not want to choose evil in the Next.
So it is not about testing us, but about learning Free Will and to see which chooses give us eminence or not. This is why Allah asks us to serve=ibadah, as we then serve ourselves in developing our Selfs. Allah is above all need and does not demand or need worship or acknowledgement. Believing in One God is onyl confirming Reality, it is to create the correct view on Reailty so you make the best choices in Life.
2110 O Mankind! Now We have revealed unto you a Book that is all about you and it will give you eminence. Will you not, then, use your sense?

Your explanation from creators point of view is perfectly right but I am arguing from creations point.For eg. if u create a glass u would pore milk , water etc in that glass be it HOT or COLD.Now one day the glass asks u that why did u created me, whether i had a choice not to be part of all this.
Does this makes any sense that GOD has still not collected enough data to see the result of his human creation and after millions of years he is still sending more and more.

Brother as per your reply, is it true that we never had any say in our creation, we are all part of GOD's plan without our say.Why people in ETHOPIA are suffering, why a 10yr old child is killed in a bomb blast.How can these people would develop there soul for the next universe.

Blunt questions are the most challenging ones, so I don't mind them at all.
People are only be judged on their level of development which was allowed in their surroundings. Also we are responsible for creating a stable society on Earth. Allah gives us Guidance how to create the Perfect society, the rest is on us. We cannot say Allah Wills hunger or oppression, as His Will is expressed through the Laws of the Universe. We are taught through Revelation (22) and study of Nature (3191) how to work with these Laws in the best way. When we follow these Laws closely (salat=2441), we follow Allah's Will, but we also do this voluntarely, Free Will. This is Quran's concept of Ibadah.
People are responsible for their possibilities in their surroundings
2362 We do not hold responsible any person beyond his or her capacity. Our Commands are meant to expand your human potential. (2286, 6153, 742). And with Us is the Database that speaks the Truth (about what you can and cannot do). And none shall de wronged.
But people must always find way to escape the oppression
497 As for those who wrong their own ?Self? by not striving until the angels (the Universal Laws of death) approach them, they are asked, ?What kept you occupied?? They say, ?We were weak and oppressed in the land.? The angels say, ? Was not the earth of Allah spacious enough for you to migrate?? As for such, their habitation will be Hell, a miserable destination.
And we who have the power, must fight the oppressors to liberate people
2239 Permission to fight is granted to those against whom war is wrongfully waged. And Allah is indeed Most Powerful for their aid.
And fight hunger
9014 - And to feed in times of hunger, famine, wars and natural disasters.
This is done to teach the Quran in the best way to people, let them see the Quran is the Divine consitution for Mankind.

I understand how The God is just, and why we are tested, but what I do not understand is what is the fault of the genetically deformed babies that are born that way ? I know they are a test for the others but what was their fault that they were forced to be like that all their life. Two possible answers are

Maybe it is a big test for those souls and only The God in His infinite wisdom subjects them to it because He knows that those strong souls will be able to bear that burden.

Another hypothesis I have is that The God asked all the souls to choose the time and environment of their test before coming here. Our souls choose to come to the earth at certain times in certain circumstances to be united with families that we had been soul mates with earlier in the spiritual realm. This was suggested by Bettie J. Eadie in her near death experience book "Embraced by the Light" http//embracedbythelight.com/index.htm
Thus the genetically deformed babies choose that particular physical environment for themselves before their arrival in this world. It is analogous to a student choosing the subject to study before going to the college or university.
The thing that puzzles me the most is that why The God created us to start with, knowing that some of us will end up in hell ? I know that He created us to serve Him for our own good, and that He does not need us to serve Him, and that serving Him is actually for our own benefit to live in this world in the best possible manner, and that it is our fault when we choose to do bad and slip up, and then we deserve the punishment, but why did The God create us in the first place knowing that some of us will end up suffering ? He knew that some of us will suffer in this life due to our own faults or because of the test and will then suffer in the life hereafter, so why create us in the first place knowing that some will suffer. If He had not created us then no one would have suffered, so His act of creation caused some suffering; why did He do it then ?
I think the simple answer to this question is WE DID HAVE A CHOICE TO BE PART OF ALL THIS
The answer lies in the following verse
3372 We have offered the trust to the heavens and the Earth, and the mountains, but they refused to bear it, and were fearful of it. But the human being accepted it; he was transgressing, ignorant.
I think when humans were created and given free choice, they were informed of all the possible consequences including the possible suffering in the earthly life and the life thereafter, and we all consented using our free choice. I think that we also were informed about the consequences of free choice and we accepted that also knowingly, so everything was done after an informed consent.

I agree that we never asked to be created, becuase we simply wouldn't have existed to be able to ask, before we were created. D Personally, I don't ask why we were created, becuase that knowledge would only be necessary if we have the choice of being created or not - which did not happen, since we have already been created. I think we should just be thankful for what exists and is real, rather than asking why the favour was forced upon us and trying to repay it. I disagree with people who's conclusion at the current point in time is that we exist to redeem ourselves. I think we can all agree with truth, which can be found through reading.

One avenue I'd explore (and have been exploring) is love and it's branches - humility, compassion, beauty, art, etc. - not in the vain sense, but as concepts, as driving energies...
Following logic will not tell you "why" you exist, only that you do. In order to find the "why", you need to look beyond logic, beyond thoughts, beyond consciousness...
People spend their entire lives embarked upon spiritual journeys trying to find "why". You won't find the answer here locked into circular logical debates.
