I personally pray 3X a day but it does not matter if you pray 5x or 1000x a day.

??? your own religious belief? And what is that belief? And how is it religious? What are your core values? How do you define your belief?

            PEace Bro Travis

Just to add to sis Honor's post, basically almost everyone agrees that there is some form of meditation/connection with God/prayer at dawn. Then there's an issue of whether the night prayer is also the evening one or if they are separate. The other debate arises with the "middle" time which some interpret as being two separate times (one at noon and the other afternoon) and other people interpret it as being one.

            I personally believe there are 5 but i don't do any -[

I do read the quran every night and morning tho

                salaam

perhaps we should reinvestigate the true meaning of 'bayt'. it was first mentioned in the narrative on ibrahim. i trust, we will find the link to meditation (pondering at night) in the story of ibrahim. please check under wazan (form) 2 of lane's lexicon and II of hans wehr. in fact, if we are not mistaken, lane has quoted a few interesting indications to suggest the 'other' meaning of 'bayt'.

                happy investigating.

                peace

                  Salaams ,

                  Just my two cents worth!!!

Only idols or other human beings need bowing down to , but for God we must act

                  Salawaat = counsel

                  House of Commons
The Public Gallery is open to the public when the House is sitting, which is usually
                  ? 14.30 - 22.30 on Mondays
                  ? 14.30 - 22.30 on Tuesdays
                  ? 11.30 - 19.30 on Wednesdays
                  ? 10.30 - 18.30 on Thursdays
                  ? 09.30 - 15.00 on sitting Fridays,

To run a city or a country or war even meetings/discussions ? counsel is an integral part like above.

So is there any history/ information regarding such meetings of the prophet or other people in such authorities?

That is if you can?t accept Salawaat = counsel/ing.

But then again there is no reason one can?t carry out a methodology for the programming of the nafs, but in that sense there are so many things one does/can do.

                  Salaams All.
