Re-introducing myself
-
(This text is a work in progress.)
In the name of God, most merciful, most compassionate.
Peace.
I am Abraham-Uwaysi bin Kareem. I belong to a group of muslims, called "The Devoted".
The Devoted, is a renovated variant of Islam, that rejects hadith.
The name comes from a verse in the Quran,• 379 It is not for a human that God would give him the Scripture and the authority and the prophethood, then he would say to the people "Be servants to me rather than God!", rather "Be devotees for what you have been taught of the Scripture, and for what you studied."
•
and we devote ourselves to what we have been taught of the scripture.
We pray three times, or intuitively as referred in the Quran
• #1,#2,#3 i 011.114, 017.078
#1 i 017.079
#1, #2 i 050.039
#1, #3 i 024.058, 030.017, 024.036, 076.025
#2, #3 i 030.018, 038.018
#1, #2, #3, #1, #2 i 020.130 (#1 & #2 is repeated, notice praise, is repeated.)Intuitive prayer
032.016, 051.018, 052.048, 073.002, 073.003, 073.004, 076.026,•
We pray as described in xx.xx, bowing sitting or standing.
We consider Prophet Abraham, the one who made Islamic written religion known.
• 2278 And walk in the blessed path of God, of those naturally chosen, the faith of your Father Abraham. He gave you the name, muslim, and this the messenger can testify to you, and so can you testify to the people. So practise prayers, and be beneficient, and be steadfast with God, he is your ally, a praised ally, and praised saviour.
•
We believe that "Brahman", is a distorted version of him. (http//www.hermetics.org/Abraham2.html, note this article may at times quote people of differing faiths)
And that practising prayer, and beneficience, is the core aspect of Islam.
Furthermore, we reject the return of any future prophet, or similar concepts.
We accept wholly that Prophet Mohammed was the seal of the prophets.
And the concept of being righly guided, is simply that of a standard muslim. (2157)We accept the teachings of immanence, and consider the We of the Quran, to be all beings who posess the spirit of God.
• 329 But He fashioned him in due proportion, and breathed into him some of His spirit. And He gave you hearing and sight and minds little thanks do ye give!
