    peace

I cannot believe in something when there is no evidence.
BOOST, you said that Aidid Safar has never seen the zam zam well so he can't possibly tell us what it's like. Well, no one has ever experienced judgement day or heaven.
To believe that there is such a place as heaven and there is a day of judgement we have to believe that the quran has some kind of special divinity. I cannot take that leap of faith. At least not yet.

So if we go by my theory that the quran only talks about things that us average humans have witnessed and can verify , what we call "judgement day" takes place all the time.

This very sentence of yours proves my point you said something which means that you already named it. I can't show you nothing, becase nothing doesn't exist,i can only show you soemthing and before that i have to give it a second name.

Example there is something in the forest. Trees, grass, animals, water, etc, etc.

Nothing cannot exist. If nothing existed then it would be something and therefore visible in one wa or another.

    Hope this helps.

Alen, that makes no sense to me either. How can NOTHING me SOMETHING? How can I show you NOTHING?

Anyway, what is the point of prophecies? how do prophecies help us become better people, do good deeds? how do they guide me to the truth?
If you are going to say that prophecies are there as proof of quran's divinity, then it's a pretty poor argument.
Also, I hate it when people treat the quran like it's a book about the divinity of the quran. Does it have anything else in it? or just miraculous (more like dubious) scientific information, mathematical codes, and prophecies who's purpose is to prove that they are from God?

      Peace bro

hmmm well when do you stop verifying the quran and start believing in its divinity?

are you trying to tell me that when God tells us the mountains are moving that's dubious scientific evidence?

what do prophecies do for us? nothing cuz its not all about us. its all about God.

hmmm well when do you stop verifying the quran and start believing in its divinity?

I believe it when I see it. P

But I think it's important for me to point out that I think there's a difference between "from God" and "written/dictated by God." The truth is "from God" according to the quran. So if the quran is true, then it is from god. How do we know it's true? by examining each and every point that's made. There is no room for blind faith.

are you trying to tell me that when God tells us the mountains are moving that's dubious scientific evidence?

When did God tell us that?
if you are talking about the Quran, then can you please show me the verse. I'll show you where I think the problem is.

what do prophecies do for us? nothing cuz its not all about us. its all about God.

        what's all about God?
prophecies are useless. Unless they are accompanied by specific advice on how to deal with a certain disaster or something, they are useless. And if all the quran has is useless prophecies, then the quran is useless too! but I doubt it is, because it doesn't have any prophecies.

Hes the creator, do you believe we were created along with everything in the cosmos for a purpose? If not do you think we just evolved out of a primoridal mudpit?

here's a link, look at it.
                  http//www.islamicity.com/Mosque/99names.htm

God is our creator, He sent a guide for us to follow
so we'll have a better life after this life,
He will ressurect us after we die.

you've read the Qur'an, it explains what He is.

What do you mean by "creator?"

God is the creator of everything as in everything that you see (and don't see) around you He created that, all He has to do is say "Be" and it is, first something didn't exist then God made it exist.
what's so hard to understand here?

                  peace

                            Salam Alen,

Nothing happens by accident. Uhuru launched on December 12 1970 has already been written.

We personally observe all your affairs, whether you recite from the Qur?an, or are absorbed in any other activity! Not a single particle on earth, or in the heavens __ nor anything smaller or larger __ is ever out of your Lord?s attention. Everything is clearly spelled out in a clear record!

Do you not observe that everyone (and everything) in the heavens and on the earth falls prostrate before Allah the sun and the moon, the stars and the mountains, the trees and the beasts, and a lot of people, too! Punishment has become warranted for many others (who do not prostrate). There is no honor for the one whom Allah humiliates. Undoubtedly, Allah does what He wills!

Do you not observe? Everyone in the heavens and on the earth chants the praises of Allah. The birds fly in the sky with wings spread. Each being has learnt its own prescribed form of ?salat?, and its style of singing the praises of Allah! Allah is well aware of what they do.

Do you not observe? Allah has tamed for your benefit everything in the heavens and on the earth. He has bestowed ample favors upon you _ those that are perceptible as well as those that lie hidden. Among the people there are some who argue about Allah without any knowledge, guidance or an enlightening book.

(He is) the Maker of the heavens and the earth! He created spouses for you from your own kind. He created the cattle in pairs, too. Thus, He (multiplies and) scatters you on the earth. He hears and observes everything!

For Code 19 people, try connecting all verse numbers from 10;61 to 42;11 then place GV of Uhuru and 12 12 1970 the number is a multiple of 19. the same is true if you place the GV of X ray explorer satellite after the verses.

                            God bless you.

                            Hati

Now let's analyze chapter 81 verses 1-14. In the first verse, it says the sun wil cease to shine. Well if the sun exploded which is the last step in its cycle, then there would be no sun, hence the sun would cease shining. I think the second verse could be describing the atmospheric conditions of the Earth afterwards. The third verse could be describing the fact that the fire from the sun would have reduced mountains to dust because of the immense temperature. In verse 6, it says the oceans would be brought to a boil.

                              http//videos.howstuffworks.com/nasa/10608-what-will-happen-to-the-earth-when-the-sun-dies-video.htm

Heres a childrens video about what happens to the earth when the sun dies.
When the sun dies, we will not be around to see what happens. We will be burned to a crisp OR we will be absorbed into the sun. Keep in mind that this is 5 billion years in the future.

                              As salamu alaykum.
                              Respectfully.

                              Qur'an mentions this
Which is better, the mosque that is founded for pious purposes and for achieving God's pleasure or that which is based on the brink of a crumbling bank and which may crumble into hell at any moment? God does not guide the unjust. (9109)
To me, this sounds like Twin Towers. I mean, people were just tradinf in those buildings, neglecting&forgetting religious duties. Of course, i'm sorry that they died but i heard that there was a room there where muslims actually prayed. Is this true?n a day." (20104) (Muhammad), they will ask you about the mountains. Tell them, "My Lord will grind them to powder (20105) and leave them so smoothly levelled (20106) that you will see no depression or elevation in it" (20107).

Goodness gracious. I hate when people use holy books to predict events. These verses are so general that any event in history can be made to fit them. How in the world are the Twin Towers like a mosque?
How were they so smoothly level that there was no depression or elevation in it?
Have you ever seen anything collapse in such a way that there is no depression or elevation? Do you honestly think that such a thing is possible?

You also mention the torture of Iraqis. Again you can make this to fit Iraqis being tortured today or muslims being tortured hundreds and hundreds of years ago. Prophecies have a habit of fitting into any century and sometimes any decade. Go ahead and try it. Find a well documented century or decade and see if your prophecies fit the events or not.

                              Peace,
                              Respectfully.
