This Sad Day or Tears for a Super Bully

Consensus will never be attained on religious grounds. What you and a few bunch here are doing is plainly foolishness. Evidence, proof, reasoning and rationality must be concurrent with time.
We do need evidence and proof and reasoning. of course.
But what do you mean by "must be concurrent with time." I don't get that part.

it's sad that the followers of Rashad have degenerated so badly.
it shows them up quite badly that they do not speak up about atrocities in other parts of the world but are the first to jump up and mourn 9/11 and 7/7.
Do not get my wrong. I mourn the dead of 7/7 and 9/11, and I was travelling on the underground trains in London while 7/7 happened. I also think it's sad what happens in Africa, Middle East and many other places like Chechnya and Tibet.

Just a reply to the first post I haven't read the entire thread, but I completely agree with the first post of this thread, they're being completely one sided and unjust.
What happened at Sep 11th was horrible but reactions to it are completely disproportionate to the millions of non-westerners who have been murdered.
The same things have occurred to me when browsing their websites, this blatant and small-minded pandering is despicable.
No wonder the 19'ers are viewed as western minded eurocentric munafiqeen and collaborators by other Muslims such as Sunnis and Shias.
-
they are not so 19ers, but so called followers of Dr Rashad Khalifa.
and yes, they are pandering to western powers.
9/11 was horrible.
7/7 in london was horrible.
But, half a million children in Iraq died as a result of sanctions from the US, and 750,000 innocent civilians have died since the Iraqi occupation started.

Peace All
yeah 911 was Terrible , No doubt about that > . But please spare a Thought for the Daily Massacre of Innocent Iraqis by the 150.000 American Jihadists in Iraq >D . Do any of the Mainstream Media Cry for these Iraqis ? I am not holding my Breath !
If any country that these American Jihadists/Suiciders should Invade, it should have been Saudi Arabia , after all the Majority of the 911 Terrorists were Saudis , So why Invade hapless Iraq ?
Stand Up for Justice !

Peace all,
I rarely watch the "bad news" (as I like to call the "news". The few times I have seen it since the war I cringe and then get really hacked-off when they announce how many Americans were killed that day. I'm sorry, but boo-hoo, why is the count of Americans all that matters? They're such idiots. I even turned off one of the few tv shows I sometimes catch tonight for a similar reason. That fix-up the family's house that has suffered some tragedy show thing. As soon as they started pooring out sympathy for the adult kid who was in Iraq and how hard it is for him seeing his own parents house accidently hit by an airplane, I turned it off. I don't hate our soldiers, most of them are just ignorant and misguided, but I certainly don't feel sorry for them. I mean if the soldiers remain here on our soil and defend us against attacks that's one thing, but to go to another country and wreck havoc, no. It makes no sense when we have so many problems in our own country to think that we have the ability to solve other country's problems. I guess that sometimes other countries want our help, but I just can't wrap my head around how in the year 2007, we still think shooting people will solve anything. If violence works, why don't we allow domestic violence? Guess it's time to prime my son to run for prez some day. I urge any and all of you who live in the states to send local representatives a message that we INSIST on peace. They do work for us after all.
Peace,

As far as I know, most young American soldiers join the US Army either for urgent financial reason or because they wholeheartedly think that they really are in a mission to liberate Iraq or Afghanistan and at the same time defending their country even though everything they believe in is actually just a false promise by George Dubya.
There is no doubt that there are some 'disgusting' American soldiers who join because they wanna kill some 'Ali Babas' or defend Christianity or something. But I'm sure many if not most of them are not and we should also feel sorry for them because they too are victims of the evil done by the real dictators of the world.

Peace Jankren,
You're right, they are victims and so I should be more sympathetic.

PEACE EDIP
I think that the home page is just a reflection that the site submission.org is gather dust and has lost the energy it once has.
I fear the same for the "submitter" community.
heck, Edip, I even called you the other day and you thought I was calling from a publisher's office regardding that book you were enquiring about in Hebrew.
Well anyways, I was calling to enquire what one does if they recognize the numerical miracle of the Quran with regard to the initials at the beginning of the sura (remember that the miracle behind these intials has nothng to do with the gematric value assigned to Arabic alphabets).
I am in a fix. I recognize this and I recognize the power behind the physical salaat as taught by Abraham, but have difficulty in accepting many of the beliefs propogated by the late Rashad Khalifa. For example, his belief in when the end of the world is, his belief that many is only held responsible after the age of 40, his belief in the deletion of the last 2 verses of Surah 9 and his belief that he is the Messenger of the Covenant are all unacceptable to me.
So what do I do?
Regards,
Khurram Chaudhry

Salaam,
I myself accept only parts of the 19-pattern that have good scientific merits. As for Rashad's conclusions. They were made by a human, and thus must be approached as such. I don't believe in his theory on the end of the world as al-sa'ah has much more meanings. Also his ideas end up in many contradictions. So I suggest to seperate the good from the bad, byaccepting the logical and rejecting what feels illogical to you.

Peace,
I tend to agree with bro Arnold once again(amazing how im getting closer to his views day by day sun). Bro Bahman and i have found out last year tht RK's calcs reg the end of the world were inconsitent and thus they have no merit. The age of forty issue makes sense since GOD links tht to maturity in the Quran. aybe this is also the reason why many young people who engage in all kinds of drugs, sexual activities, etc later become very civilized humans , get married and even be loyal to their partner. It all needs time and GOD knew tht. As for the code-19 pattern in the Quran, i ofcourse accept that because its as solid as the big bang and the theory of evolution. Always remember GOD's human messengers are NOT messengers 24 hrs a day but at particular times there is direct connection with them and GOD possibly directly through the quantum particles and that is when they receive messages/inspiration. The rest of the time theyr just normal. GOD Bless!
