Thank you all for the kind words and support, i appreciate it all.
Glory be to Exalted GOD Almighty Who gave me so many excellent friends all over the world.Jonny_k The Central Mosque of London in the Regent's Park is the biggest one and the reason i pray there is because i have also asked them to help me find a place to stay and a job. They have found me a job, alhmadilALLAH and i am with a friend of mine here but he says that soon he will also leave.
I will have to look for anothe rplace to stay and i am doing that today.
I also have to find a better job.I will remain a fighter.

Bro Johnny, why create differences? Why pin brother against brother and shove your difference in his face? Embrace the unity instead! If you have nothing in common at all with the person next to you, guess what.. you're still connected to him and you cannot escape it ! So embrace it.
As for performing salat, you can make your connection to God anywhere and anytime. The One is not limited to the spaces we create for ourselves.
I am very proud of Bro Alen in his courage to embrace his fellow brothers in another country and break bread with them and share in the loving energy they create in the space called "the central mosque of london". Brother Alen stands alone when his connection is being established with his Creator, even if the room is filled with other souls.
I think he is a true example alot of us need to start following, me included! Let's start breaking down all of these ideological walls we so comfortably built around ourselves and truly see our true identity - that which is not limited by these constructs of "us versus them".

Dont be a jerk dude. Just because we share the same 'temple' with the people of different belief does not mean we are believeing what they are believeing. Remember every soul is responsible only for himself. There is nothing wrong with interacting with Sunnists or any other people of different sects. After all we are closer in terms of belief than anyone else.

Instead of offending me here cld you plz tell me wht u make of the Quranic verses i quoted where itclearly says not to worship in a Masjid of idol worshippers? You cant go to church and pray to Jesus there either. If sunnis n/or other sectarians insist on mentioning Muhammad in the adhaan n their pryers then prying along with them is not right. GOD Bless! -

I think the Quran is of no more importance to any of you. I mentioned a Quranic verse and all ic is people attacking me and telling me what a jerk i am instead of discussing why when the Quran mentions you not to do this, you still insist that you can pray along with anyone. GOD Bless! -
2571 And whosoever repents, and does good, then he shall repent towards God a true repentance.

9107 And there are those who establish a temple to do harm and cause rejection, and to divide between the believers, and as an outpost for those who fought God and His messenger before. They will swear that they only wanted to do good, and God bears witness that they are liars.
9108 Do not maintain in it ever. A temple that is founded on righteousness from the first day is more worthy that you maintain in it; in it are men who love to be cleansed. And God loves the cleansed. -

Please accept my apology if I offended you. I didn't mean to attack you in any way. But perhaps there was something in my post that I did not write very clearly.
I see a big difference between a Sunni Muslim who probably doesn't even label his own self as such and a Hindu for example, whose masjid would be decorated with many many gods and he is blatantly praying to all of them. I would consider the Hindu an idol worshipper and our salat would be irreconcilable. I can still embrace him, for the connection is always there regardless of whether one recognizes it or not. But salat in that environment with clear idol worshippers would be very counter-productive because they wouldn't really be doing salat for anything. I've been inside a Hindu temple before and the energy that I felt wasn't good. I had an anxiety in my heart and an overall unsettling feeling. I also felt not welcomed by the people because I don't have a desi look to me so i got alot of stares instead of smiles.
Compare this to any Muslim masjid. All colors and creeds are welcomed with a beautiful greeting left and right! You can feel the positive energy around you and it literally uplifts you. The space is open and you stand close to your brother or sister, young or old, and 99.9% of the salat is dedicated to God Alone. The other .1% I feel is dependant on the person. Most muslims i know do not worship the prophet and only mention his name in a way to proclaim that their faith is that found in the quran. Is that really shirk? i personally don't think so. i think it's better for them not to mention mohamed's name but i don't think these people will be those counted as idol worshippers by God. There are others that really worship mohamed and those probably would not be able to make the connection they were supposed to make.
We can't go into the hearts of others and see what they believe. You or I can be idol worshippers at any given time as well. WE can be putting numerous things above God and measuring God by that standard at times even. We can worship our egos, our science, our family, a beloved person, a child, our job, etc etc. I don't have the power to enter into your heart and see who you are idolizing at any given moment. That doesn't mean that I just can't do salat with anyone. The really obvious idol worshippers who have set up many gods and call them that should not be contacted for salat with. But those who we have no way of knowing except to enter their hearts, I believe are fine for us to sally with.

Apology acceepted sun. But this anxiety which you feel inside a hindu temple is because you were brought up in a sunni background just like i was and they teach you that hindus are impure and so. If you view a it logically it makes no difference of what the hindus do praying to a carved image Bhagwaan than Muslims who abstarctly ask intercession from GOD through Muhammad. Its only the way which one has been brought up which makes one look at those differently. I wld neither pray in a hindu temple, nor a church and also not a sunni/shia masjid. GOD Bless! -

I was not raised as a sunni, only quran alone in my family but I see your point. I don't know that alot of sunnis actually do pray for intercession from God in salat. I'm familiar with the traditional salat and i only find a few lines disconnecting to me (the tashahod part i think its called). We have way too much in common with sunni muslims for us to make such splits and divisions. In fact since they are the closest to us in belief, they can potentially be most open to correction, when the time is appropriate for them.
Anyway, I still believe his salat is accepted and he can be a good example of how a true Muslim should be. Perhaps that would make them re-evaluate themselves if they need re-evaluation. I discourage any type of confrontation when it comes to "my beliefs versus their beliefs" because this is not the way any messengers spread the word. They spread it with gentleness, peace, love, empathy. They spread it by being a living example of a different level that life could be. They spread it by not disassociating themselves with others who are different than them but by being a part of their communion. It is only then when hearts can potentially open to the message. This is not to say that they did wrong things that they found their community doing, but it is to say that no messenger turned his back on his people. In fact it was the opposite. So if we truly want to walk in the footsteps of the messengers, we need to love others and nurture others spiritually in a way that shows the right path naturally without compulsion or animosity. It must be done in a way that there is discernment between what is appropriate and what is forbidden so that bright lines are not faded while still allowing for others to express what stage they are in their spiritual growth. And there must be an acceptance of rejection as all messengers were rejected. If we can master that, then there is no need for us versus them mentality. We are all one but at different degrees of the same "measuring stick" so to speak and those degrees are never constant for any given person.

Beautifully said Boost, I agree with you , I also think Johnny K has a valid point from the Quran that should be discussed, I myself do not know the answer but I agrre that we will never know what is in others hearts, how can we decide which mosque is founded on righteousness, i think that if we pray in traditional mosques but in our own way it would be accepted by God, sonce we are only responsible for our own intentions, however, i would like to see some proof from the Quran that would make me feel more secure about it, maybe God doesnt want us to pray there, i really dont know,

JK- Cmon sister you cant be serious. Im just coming to realize tht we have very little in common with the sunnis. All those traditional salat , zakat, hajj, etc methods are innovations by sunnis/shias. Thts why shias pray differently than sunnis. All these extra Quranic stuff i dont think it's correct anymore. One of the Quran Alone Mulims biggest mistake is that they still cling to so many sunni intepretations of the Quran. GOD Bless!

I'm totally aware of those verses you posted here Br Jonny.
But I said so because I think I know the reasons to why Br Alen did his salat in that mosque in London.
He did it to please them, and maybe they want to give him a job or so.
Therefore I thought it was so unfair to point finger at him for that reason.
And we can pray in a mosque if we stand alone and not follow the imam!!!

Well thts also a pt. Can we please some idol worshipper so that hed give us a job? Is that acceptable to GOD? And as far as praying in the Masjid alone but not behind the imam 1) we dont know wht bro Alen did 2) im not sure whether we can stand in the masjid at all BUT if one defines Masjid not as the building itself 24hrs a day but to the area where it is actively being prayed and only at that time, then your right. Well I wouldn't do it but maybe it's better Alen explains this himself because it seems like we are talking behind his back and that isn't recommended either.
I think he has a rough time and he needs to find himself and if he wants to deal with his situation in this way it's fine with me.
And I do believe that we can perform salat where we want to, because if you are clean then the rest is between you and God. But of course not following idolworshippers in their so called salat, no way!!!

I am grateful to GOD that i have so many friends on this forum.I would never pray in the mosque i pray but the guy i live with is a sunni, they are all sunni and i have to be careful, all others are Arabs.
If they knew me like you do, i would be dead.
Albanian guy took me in his home while the Arabs abandoned me cuz i have American accent.
I have soooooo much to tell you but i gotta run to work.
JK believe me, i would pray alone in my own place but i cannot afford a place and London is not Ljubljana, it is very expensive. Unless you wanna send me $2000 then i have to pray at this mosque and live with a guy who drives me MAD. Keeps telling me to eat with the right hand, exit or enter the place with right foot, pray like this, like that, say like this like that, shoulder to shoulder, seperate legs totally, grow beard, meanwhile my back is killing me and i still do not have a place of my own, i gotta struggle, bro.
I am looking four different jobs, four different interviews wait for me, gotta shave for them and have beard for the sunnis back home.
