Ramadan Muslims ? These are the Muslims who turn up in Ramadan only. Look at the masjid on the last day of Shaban and then look at the first of Ramadan, then look at the last day of Ramadan and the first day of Shawaal. An Imam once said that for 11 months people are kidnapped and freed in one month. These are the ?One Month Muslims?
Eid Muslims ? This day the masjid is most packed, even more packed than juma and Ramadan. There are Muslims who only come on Eid and no other day, these are the ?Two day a year Muslim?
Juma Muslims ? It is afternoon, most are working or at college, but still alhamdollilah they come to Juma salat. These are the ?One day a week Muslims?
Quranite Muslims ? These take the quran as the criterion, the only book. Whilst they don?t reject the sunnah they don?t take the ?ahadiths? as divine book.? These are also known as ?Ahadith rejecters?
Hadithite Muslims ? These love hadiths, they believe in Quran but also believe that you need ahadiths to explain everything? These are known as ?Ahadithists?
Fundamentalists ? This is any brother with a full beard or sister with Hijab.
Extremists ? This is any brother or sister that says you must pray 5 times a day, pay zakat, perform haj, fast, believe that Allah (swt) is one god and Muhammad (peace be upon him) is his messenger.
Terrorists ? This is anyone who believes that Jihad means that you might have to take up arms and fight and defend the Muslims.
Praying Muslims ? I was asked once do I pray, and I replied in the affirmative and was called a ?Praying Muslim?
Non-praying Muslims ? I then asked do you pray and the answer was a negative but they claimed they were still Muslims.

I found this funny, and somewhat true.

    Godbless,
    Anwar

those who pick up arms and defend muslims are not terrorists, and a beard or hijab is not extreme
the rest is kind of funny by the discriptions and it is true...but there should be more "muslims",like muslim by family tradition, family muslims?

        peace

                Peace,

AspeRin, you should read that again. It said fundamentalist for the beards. Fundamentalist is not terrorist even though the media likes to use them interchangeably. And the description for Terrorist should be a little more specific. But I didn't give this site any authority. I just thought it was interesting. I know I am a Quranite Muslim for sure. However, I would call myself a rejector of the hadeeth, jsut soeone who puts them in the right place.

I haven't been to a masjid (mosque) in a very long time either. I got really sick of the hard hearts and minds to be found there.
