The point would really be to create conditions for humanity where justice, freedom and peace reign. Easier said than done of course, given that humans have the capacity to do equal wickedness as much as good.

The Qur'an mentions that things of the temporal life are not as lasting as faith and good deeds. Wealth, children and so on are but a sport/pastime. What it means IMO is that the stuff that matters is the stuff which improves the BOTH the individual and collective condition of human beings. Given what I said about human tendencies, we must strive to do the best we can.

In terms of seeing the creator, the Qur'an mentions the 'signs' as being proof of God, but I think perhaps life wouldn't have the test or challenge aspect to it if we could all see the Boss right in front of us... hmm.....just a thought.

          peace

oh. i kinda thought the meaning (or one of the meanings) was to not get too attached to this life and to strive to reach heaven after this life.

as for seeing God, we're gonna do it eventually, so why is it so important to not see God in this life?
is that the point, we have to believe in God even when we don't see God?

Peace be upon you Pheonix 1,

What exactly is the "ONE BEING?" Conciousness?

            Yes

If yes, then what is conciousness?

It is the core of all Living things, closer to the human than the jugular vien ;D

It is THAT which percieves all things that are percieved but ITSELF cannot be percieved. It is THAT core of your being that never changes while everything else changes. Look at a picture of yourself when you were young, then another when you were a bit older, then look in the mirror.....do you see the part of you that changes? Realize that each picture, not only changed in outer form, but each picture had different likes and dislikes, different emotional patterns, etc. All of those CHANGING ASPECTS were being observed/percieved by the very same unchanging consciousness, which you are, but you can never SEE that conciousness, you can never behold that conciousness, but when you go deep into meditation, you can EXPERIENCE the conciousness that you are.

what is the point of this life? what does qur'an say about it?
why were we created and why can't we see our Creator?

Allah Taala says in the Holy Quran And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they may worship Me. (5156)

We can't see Allah because the Holy Quran says No vision can grasp Him, but His grasp is over all vision He is above all comprehension, yet is acquainted with all things. (6103)

and what do we achieve by that? heaven, in the afterlife. so that's why we're here? to fight for heaven?
but why does Allah keep creating new humans knowing some of them will not worship?
what is the point of creating them?

but we are going to see Allah later, right? after we're resurrected.

lonelyness is just a feeling us humans have, not Allah.
maybe there was another universe before this one. maybe there were other creations that existed and their purpose was different then ours.

By giving ourselves into worship of Allah we purify our hearts and exalt our status. Then we become worthy of the reward which Allah will mete out for us. Because Allah has given us free will, some of us will worship Him and some of us will not. The point is that worship which is not coerced is deserving of a reward and is better than the worship of the Angels (who have no free will).

but we are going to see Allah later, right? after we're resurrected.

                      Yes.

so as i see it, we were created to strive for heven.
and to get there we must follow what Allah said.

                          Peace be upon you Almarh0m,

The Slave and The King is One , reflect on this please .

Yes, ALL is One, at the innermost level, at the outermost level, there is the illusion of seperateness, and that is the great TEST, can you REMEMBER that all is ONE? If we can, wars would stop, corruption would stop, etc.

The king and the slave are one just as the heart cells and the brain cells are one body. All of creation is really electrons, protons and nuetrons in different configurations, is that not ONE?

By the way , what do you think it was like before The GOD
                          created anything ? Just a Void ?

Thats easy, the same way it is for you when you go to sleep but are not dreaming.

                          Was The GOD lonely ?

Are you lonely when you are sleep and are not dreaming?
