Peace all,
I agree with samia on most points.
And check this out - This guy, Kamal Nawash (a republican), claims that democrats and the 'cultural left' are what caused 9/11! That if it wasn't for them and their being so liberal, the muslims wouldn't hate the west so much to attack... "Thus without the cultural left, 9/11 would not have happened." http//i28.photobucket.com/albums/c236/zenje/smilies/doh.gif

Maybe you should be more careful when you read an article next time bro. Kamal Nawash did not write the book. He was only discussing the issue raised by the book on CNN. The book itself was written by Dinesh D'Souza .

Since you are someone who does not accept hadith and stuff, I suppose you are capable of using your rationale and not accepting theories that have been running for centuries, and endorsed by hundreds of millions. Yet, inspite of all the information on this site and on the internet, and in spite of what is going on in the world, you still speak of 19 hijakers and muslims blowing up buildings? If you do not want to parrot what the religious elites say, it is more of a sarcasm to parrot what the media transmits.
I am not asking you to "parrot" what conspiracy theories say. I just ask you to do your own research with an open mind.

I am open minded and I'm also open to the fact that an inside job was probably involved in WORSENING the 9/11 tragedy in order to take advantage of it. However, Im still not convinced that those hijackers on board of the planes were not Saudi and Moroccan terrorists. In my opinion having an open mind does not mean the only thing I should trust and listen to is the conspiracy theories, even the conspiracy theorists are split into two 'factions'. One faction is blaming the US Govt and Freemasonry while the other is suspecting the Jews. Im not saying that I dont listen to such theories but instead I listen to all sides of the conflict.

But the fact is that all of the hijackers in 9/11 for example were all Muslims so I dont see anything wrong for any fellow Muslims to apologise for what our own brothers did. As for the rest of the indirect perpetrators we can investigate further along with time while all we can do now is to apologise for the crimes done by some of our own.
May I ask you Jankren what Fact of the 911 are you talking about ? Who established this so called 'fact' regarding the Perpetrators were all Arabs and Muslims ? At best , you could have said " The Alleged Perpetrators of 911 " . Bro Jankren Before anyone is found guilty of any Crime i.e. sufficient Evidence to convict him/her , legally we refer to them as "The Alleged Killer or the Alleged Terrorists" all these is due to The Law / Justice System which Presumes that Anyone charged with a Crime , is Innocent until proven Guilty by a Court of Law . And the standard of Proof for Criminal Cases/Trial is that Guilty Beyond any reasonable Doubt . I can understand why your mindset is so as you were from a country where The Presumption of Innocence does not apply , in fact the Opposite is true even in the post so called "Reformasi ".
Muslims have nothing to Apologize for in respect of the 911 Tragedy , I do not know why should feel like that . If the Americans have any sense of Justice at all , they should be going down on their Knees Begging the Muslims pardon and conpensating them Trillion $$$$ for their pain , suffering and losses of over a million Innocent Human Lives in Iraq as well as Afghanistan . unless of course you feel that those Honky Invaders are superior to you and your fellow Muslims .
Peace

Yes I agree with you. I should have said 'alleged terrorists' instead.

Peace,
Al-MarhOm,
Well I'm not exactly a fan of Euro-American culture, ways and its mindset or what it might share with Europe in its aspect of demonizing enemies, seeing themselves as superior for their European ancestry and everything they have that represents it, their dehumanizing of "the foreigner" and feeling themselves as distinct and apart from the rest of the human world. I as an Afro-American know these evil things that reside in their culture very well and only the fools among us would try to forget it and fit in just because things have become more tolerant on the surface and in the professional world. There is still much intolerance, alienation and senses of supremacy and distinction in the heart of the Euro-American and I'm sure the European as well.
However, honky is a racial slur, and i don't think it is appropriate to say at all.Godbless,

AnwarArent you being over-generalizing and too suspicious?

Peace,
1.Just speaking on what I know.
-
Anything said about a "culture" whether true or untrue is a generalization, there will always be exceptions.
-
It's funny that you find my objective specific observations about a culture over the top and criticize it, but stayed completey silent about "the honky invaders" confused
Godbless,

Peace samia, all
problem is, when you do your own research with an open mind, all you really find out is that you really don't know ...at least that is what happens to me quite often. This is why i can understand that many people prefer to follow mainstream..so much easier and reassuring to KNOW who your ENNEMI is than to admit that your lost...

Yep! Same thing with religions... most prefer to stay in their comfort zones. Plus they're too lazy to do the research for themselves, especially after living all our lives being told what to believe/think.Peace
