Peace be upon you,
Can someone please quote the verses where Allah intervened to help the believers.
JK- GOD does not intervene on the macro level. He has setup the constants at the beginning and everyhing goes on accordance with His calculations and happens at its proper time. The Quran also says that the way of GOD (the universal laws) does not change. Thus th beleiers will be helped in accordance with the laws of nature set by GOD if they apply rational though and the scientific method. GOD Bless!

Moses and the Children of Israel?..- And We helped the Children of Israel cross the sea, and Pharaoh and his soldiers followed them out of hatred and animosity. But when he was certain to drown, he said ?I believe that there is no god except the One in whom the Children of Israel believe, and I am of those who have submitted.?

I believe that God helps believers all the time, whether we realize it or not. But, as johnny_k said, everything happens according to God's calculations and happens at its proper time. When we receive help from God, it was God's plan from the beginning of time.

JK- Imploring Him leads us to unity and hence well more probably tend to employ the scinetific methid and rational thought. Thts always been the case with me. GOD has already setup His Laws. By imploring him through self suggestion or motivation whilst celebrating His praise in congregation the laws which He setup will go in your favor BUT tht is only so if you implore Him Alone, not like the sunnis along with Muhammad or Christians along with Jesus.
