The major disagreement I have is that, based on my understanding of al-qur'aan, the minimum number of times mumineen/muslimeen are commanded to establish salaat in a 24 hour period is two dawn salaat (salaat al-fajr) and dusk salaat (salaat al-isha), and that the "qiblah" is mental and not physical.

1 SUMMARY OF HOW TO PERFORM AS-SALAAT
STEP 1 As-Salawaat that are to be performed by believers are named Salaatil Fajr, As-Salaatil Wusta, Salaatil ?Ishaa, and Salaatil min Yawmil Jum?uah.
STEP 2 The times to perform As-Salaat are as follows
Salaatil Fajr the first light of daybreak till right before the Sun rises.
Salaatil Wusta From the midpoint of day until the sun sets
Salaatil ?Ishaa From the setting of the sun until the is no light
Salaatil min
Yawmil Jumuah On the day of congregation or assemblySTEP 3 Make sure you are mentally prepared for As-Salaat by the
Doing the following(1) The individual or group of believers that are to make As-Salaat should be conscious before the time of As-Salaat to have ample preparation and intention to perform As-Salaat in the time frame given by Allah to us in the Qur?an;
(2) The person or group of people should have clear minds that are not intoxicated in any way,
(3) they should make sure that the person leading As-Salaat understands the ayah that they are going to be reciting;
(4) they should as individuals and/or as a group if performing it in congregation, intend to be humble, submissive, engaging their hearts, and touched in their spirit when preparing to start As-Salaat;
(5) When they stand up to establish and perform As-Salaat, they should also be obedient and devout while making sure that they are serious in their behavior involved in As-Salaat!STEP 4 Physically prepare yourself to perform As-Salaat by
a) choose a place fitting to perform As-Salaat
b) dress properly for As-Salaat
c) remove your shoes when performing As-Salaat
d) wash your face
e) wash your hands to the elbows,
f) wipe your head,
g) wipe your feet to the ankles, or
h) if you are necessitating it, take a full bath, or
i) if you find no water, take clean sand, earth, dust and wipe your face and hands therewith.
j) Women, as a Mercy, do not perform As-Salaat during menstruations or when bleeding after giving birth.STEP 5 Face the Qiblah of Al-Masjid Al-Haraam to perform As-Salaat.
STEP 6 Make the call to perform As-Salaat (nuudiyah) as follows

Transliteration Allatheena yathkuroona Allaha qiyaman waquAAoodan waAAala junoobihim wayatafakkaroona fee khalqi alssamawati waal-ardi rabbana ma khalaqta hatha batilan subhanaka faqina AAathaba alnnari
Literal Those who mention/remember God standing, and sitting, and on their sides, and they think in the skies'/space's and the earth's/Planet Earth's creation, "Our Lord, you have not created that wastefully, your praise/glory, so protect us (from)/make us avoid the fire's torture."
Men who celebrate the praises of Allah, standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and contemplate the (wonders of) creation in the heavens and the earth, (With the thought) "Our Lord! not for naught Hast Thou created (all) this! Glory to Thee! Give us salvation from the penalty of the Fire.{192}
Transliteration Rabbana innaka man tudkhili alnnara faqad akhzaytahu wama lilththalimeena min ansarin
Literal Our Lord, that you whom you make to enter the fire, so you had shamed/scandalized/disgraced him, and (there are) none to the unjust/oppressors from victoriors/saviors/supporters.
"Our Lord! any whom Thou dost admit to the Fire, Truly Thou coverest with shame, and never will wrong-doers Find any helpers!{193}
Transliteration Rabbana innana samiAAna munadiyan yunadee lil-eemani an aminoo birabbikum faamanna rabbana faighfir lana thunoobana wakaffir AAanna sayyi-atina watawaffana maAAa al-abrari
Literal Our Lord, that we heard a caller, calls to the belief, 'That believe with your Lord', so we believed, Our Lord, so forgive for us our crimes, and cover/substitute from us our sins/crimes, and make us die with the righteous.
"Our Lord! We have heard the call of one calling (Us) to Faith, 'Believe ye in the Lord,' and we have believed. Our Lord! Forgive us our sins, blot out from us our iniquities, and take to Thyself our souls in the company of the righteous.{194}
Transliteration Rabbana waatina ma waAAadtana AAala rusulika wala tukhzina yawma alqiyamati innaka la tukhlifu almeeAAada
Literal Our Lord, and give us what you promised us on your messengers, and do not shame/scandalize/disgrace us (on) the Resurrection Day, that you do not break the appointment (promise).
"Our Lord! Grant us what Thou didst promise unto us through Thine messengers, and save us from shame on the Day of Judgment For Thou never breakest Thy promise."STEP 7 State the following as you rise or begin in the position of Qiyaam

Transliteration DaAAwahum feeha subhanaka allahumma watahiyyatuhum feeha salamun waakhiru daAAwahum ani alhamdu lillahi rabbi alAAalameena
Literal Their call/prayer in it (is) "Oh/you God Your praise/glory." And their greeting in it (is) "Security/peace." and their last call/prayer (is) "That the praise/gratitude (is) to God the creations all together's/ (universes' Lord.
(This will be) their cry therein "Glory to Thee, O Allah!" And "Peace" will be their greeting therein! and the close of their cry will be "Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds!"STEP 8 In the position of Qiyaam (standing), seek refuge with Allah by
stating the following{97}
Transliteration Waqul rabbi aAAoothu bika min hamazati alshshayateeni
Literal And say "My Lord, I seek protection by You from the devils' urges/suggestions.
And say "O my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee from the suggestions of the Evil Ones.{98}
Transliteration WaaAAoothu bika rabbi an yahdurooni
Literal And I seek protection by you, my Lord, that they attend/come to me.
"And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord! lest they should come near me."STEP 8 Continue standing in the position of Qiyaam and glorify Allah with Praise by saying the following, or similar from Al-Quran

Transliteration Huwa Allahu allathee la ilaha illa huwa AAalimu alghaybi waalshshahadati huwa alrrahmanu alrraheemu
Literal He is God, He whom (there is) no God except Him, knower (of) the unseen/invisible/ supernatural and the testimony/presence, He is the merciful, the most merciful.
Allah is He, than Whom there is no other god;- Who knows (all things) both secret and open; He, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.{23}
Transliteration Huwa Allahu allathee la ilaha illa huwa almaliku alquddoosu alssalamu almu/minu almuhayminu alAAazeezu aljabbaru almutakabbiru subhana Allahi AAamma yushrikoona
Literal He is God, which (there is) no God except Him, the king/owner/possessor, the holy/sanctimonious/ glorified, the safety/security/peace, the confirmer/believer, the guardian/protector, the glorious/mighty, the almighty/tremendous, the greatened/proud/arrogant, God's praise/glory from what they share/make partners (with Him).
Allah is He, than Whom there is no other god;- the Sovereign, the Holy One, the Source of Peace (and Perfection), the Guardian of Faith, the Preserver of Safety, the Exalted in Might, the Irresistible, the Supreme Glory to Allah! (High is He) above the partners they attribute to Him.{24}
Transliteration Huwa Allahu alkhaliqu albari-o almusawwiru lahu al-asmao alhusna yusabbihu lahu ma fee alssamawati waal-ardi wahuwa alAAazeezu alhakeemu
Literal He is God, the creator, the creator, the shaper/former/image maker, for Him (are) the names the good/most beautiful, what (is) in the skies/space and the earth/Planet Earth, praise/glorify to Him, and He is the glorious/mighty, the wise/judicious.
He is Allah, the Creator, the Evolver, the Bestower of Forms (or Colours). To Him belong the Most Beautiful Names whatever is in the heavens and on earth, doth declare His Praises and Glory and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.Or/and in the second unit or sequence of As Salaat

Transliteration Allahu la ilaha illa huwa alhayyu alqayyoomu la ta/khuthuhu sinatun wala nawmun lahu ma fee alssamawati wama fee al-ardi man tha allathee yashfaAAu AAindahu illa bi-ithnihi yaAAlamu ma bayna aydeehim wama khalfahum wala yuheetoona bishay-in min AAilmihi illa bima shaa wasiAAa kursiyyuhu alssamawati waal-arda wala yaooduhu hifthuhuma wahuwa alAAaliyyu alAAatheemu
Literal God, no God except He, the live/alive, the of no beginning and self sufficient, no drowsiness/slumber, and nor sleep takes Him, for Him what (is) in the skies/space and what (is) in the earth/Planet Earth. Who (is) that who mediates at Him, except with His permission? He knows what (is) between their hands and what (is) behind them, and they do not comprehend/envelope with a thing from His knowledge, except with what He wills/wants. His throne/knowledge extended/contained/enriched the skies/space and the earth/Planet Earth, and (it) does not tire/burden Him their (B)'s protection/observation, and He (is) the high/dignified, the great.
Allah! There is no god but He,-the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede in His presence except as He permitteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to His creatures as) before or after or behind them. Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He willeth. His Throne doth extend over the heavens and the earth, and He feeleth no fatigue in guarding and preserving them for He is the Most High, the Supreme (in glory).STEP 9 Begin to recite Al-Qur?an in the position of Qiyam starting with

Recite any sura(s), or portion of them, of Al-Qur?an from Sura 2 to Sura 114.
STEP 11 After finishing your desired recitation of Al-Qur?an in Qiyaam, Glorify Allah with praise as you move to the position of Ruku by saying the following or similar from Al-Qur?an

Transliteration Waquli alhamdu lillahi sayureekum ayatihi fataAArifoonaha wama rabbuka bighafilin AAamma taAAmaloona
Literal And say "The praise/gratitude/thanks (is) to God, He will show you/make you understand His verses/evidences, so you know it, and your Lord is not with ignoring/neglecting about/from what you make/do
And say "Praise be to Allah, Who will soon show you His Signs, so that ye shall know them"; and thy Lord is not unmindful of all that ye do.STEP 12 In the position of Ruku, praise Allah with the following or similar words from Al-Qur?an

Transliteration Qul hathihi sabeelee adAAoo ila Allahi AAala baseeratin ana wamani ittabaAAanee wasubhana Allahi wama ana mina almushrikeena
Literal Say "This (is) my way/path I call to God, on (an) evidence/clear sightedness, me and who followed me, and praise/glory (to) God, and I am not from the sharers/takers of partners (with God)." Say thou "This is my way I do invite unto Allah,- on evidence clear as the seeing with one's eyes,- I and whoever follows me. Glory to Allah! and never will I join gods with Allah!"STEP 13 Recite the following words as Allah has mentioned in Al-Quran Sura Al-Israa?, as you move from the position of Ruku down to the position of Sujood, or similar words from Al-Qur?an

Transliteration Waqul rabbi adkhilnee mudkhala sidqin waakhrijnee mukhraja sidqin waijAAal lee min ladunka sultanan naseeran
Literal And say "My Lord enter me a truthful entrance, and bring me out (in) a truthful exit, and make/put for me from at you a victorious/supportive proof/power/authority."
Say "O my Lord! Let my entry be by the Gate of Truth and Honour, and likewise my exit by the Gate of Truth and Honour; and grant me from Thy Presence an authority to aid (me)."{81}
Transliteration Waqul jaa alhaqqu wazahaqa albatilu inna albatila kana zahooqan
Literal And say "The truth came and the falsehood vanished/perished, that (E) the falsehood was/is vanishing/perishing."
And say "Truth has (now) arrived, and Falsehood perished for Falsehood is (by its nature) bound to perish."STEP 14 In the position of Sujood, glorify Allah with praise with the Following words from Al-Qur?an

Transliteration Wayaqooloona subhana rabbina in kana waAAdu rabbina lamafAAoolan
Literal And they say "Praise/glory (to) our Lord that truly our Lord's promise was made/done (E)."
"And they say 'Glory to our Lord! Truly has the promise of our Lord been fulfilled!'"{111}
Transliteration Waquli alhamdu lillahi allathee lam yattakhith waladan walam yakun lahu shareekun fee almulki walam yakun lahu waliyyun mina alththulli wakabbirhu takbeeran
Literal And say "The praise/gratitude (is) to God who did not take (a) child (son), and (there) had not been/is not a partner for Him in the ownership/ kingdom, and (there) had not been/is not for Him (a) guardian/protector from the humbleness/weakness, and greaten/magnify Him, greatness/ enlargement." Say "Praise be to Allah, who begets no son, and has no partner in (His) dominion Nor (needs) He any to protect Him from humiliation yea, magnify Him for His greatness and glory!"STEP 15 If you are completing performance of the first unit of As-Salaat, Glorify Allah with praise with the following or similar words from Al-Qur?an while moving back to the position of Qiyaam to begin The second unit of As-Salaat. After stating the following, Start the second unit of As-Salaat at STEP 7. (If this is the second unit of As-Salaat, then skip this step and proceed to step 16)

Transliteration Quli alhamdu lillahi wasalamun AAala AAibadihi allatheena istafa allahu khayrun amma yushrikoona
Literal Say "The praise/gratitude/thanks (is) to God, and peace/security on (to) His worshippers/slaves those whom He chose/purified; is God better/best or what they share/make partners (with Him)?"
Say Praise be to Allah, and Peace on his servants whom He has chosen (for his Message). (Who) is better?- Allah or the false gods they associate (with Him)?STEP 16 If you have completed STEP 15 for the second time, or if you are
Performing As-Salaat that is shortened, end the formal Salaat by glorifing Allah with Praise by reciting the following words from Al-Qur?an as you rise from Sajdah{10}
Transliteration DaAAwahum feeha subhanaka allahumma watahiyyatuhum feeha salamun waakhiru daAAwahum ani alhamdu lillahi rabbi alAAalameena
Literal Their call/prayer in it (is) "Oh/you God Your praise/glory." And their greeting in it (is) "Security/peace." and their last call/prayer (is) "That the praise/gratitude (is) to God the creations all together's/(universes' Lord.
(This will be) their cry therein "Glory to Thee, O Allah!" And "Peace" will be their greeting therein! and the close of their cry will be "Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds!"STEP 17 After rising from the position of Sajdah, in the sitting position, which is most common, or whether standing or lying on ones side, any specific praise or request may be made to Allah for whatever need or desire you want as a blessing using your own appropriate words in any language; as this is not a formal part of As-Salaat and praying for personal and specific things from His sincere servants, is always acceptable to Allah. Allah has also given us many ?duas? that are worthy to be recited at this time and many of them are given below. And Allah knows best!

Transliteration FataAAala Allahu almaliku alhaqqu wala taAAjal bialqur-ani min qabli an yuqda ilayka wahyuhu waqul rabbi zidnee AAilman
Literal So high, mighty, exalted and dignified (is) God the owner/possessor/king, the truth, and do not hurry/hasten with the Koran from before that its transmission/revelation be carried out/executed to you, and say "My Lord increase me knowledge."
High above all is Allah, the King, the Truth! Be not in haste with the Qur'an before its revelation to thee is completed, but say, "O my Lord! advance me in knowledge."{128}
Transliteration Rabbana waijAAalna muslimayni laka wamin thurriyyatina ommatan muslimatan laka waarina manasikana watub AAalayna innaka anta alttawwabu alrraheemu
Literal Our Lord and make us two Moslems to you, and from our descendants, a nation submitting/surrendering/Moslems to you, and show us our rituals/methods of worship and forgive on us, that you are the forgiver, the most merciful.
"Our Lord! make of us Muslims, bowing to Thy (Will), and of our progeny a people Muslim, bowing to Thy (will); and show us our place for the celebration of (due) rites; and turn unto us (in Mercy); for Thou art the Oft-Returning, Most Merciful.{74}
Transliteration Waallatheena yaqooloona rabbana hab lana min azwajina wathurriyyatina qurrata aAAyunin waijAAalna lilmuttaqeena imaman
Literal And those who say "Our Lord grant/present us from our spouses and our descendants eyes'/sight's delight/satisfaction, and make/put us to the believers (as) an example."
And those who pray, "Our Lord! Grant unto us wives and offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and give us (the grace) to lead the righteous."{201}
Transliteration Waminhum man yaqoolu rabbana atina fee alddunya hasanatan wafee al-akhirati hasanatan waqina AAathaba alnnari
Literal And from them who say "Our Lord, give us in the present world a goodness, and in the end (other life) a goodness, and protect us/make us avoid the fire's torture."
And there are men who say "Our Lord! Give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and defend us from the torment of the Fire!"{250}
Transliteration Walamma barazoo lijaloota wajunoodihi qaloo rabbana afrigh AAalayna sabran wathabbit aqdamana waonsurna AAala alqawmi alkafireena
Literal And when they emerged/appeared to Goliath and his soldiers/warriors, they said "Our Lord, pour on us patience and make our feet firm, and give us victory/aid on (over) the nation, the disbelieving."
When they advanced to meet Goliath and his forces, they prayed "Our Lord! Pour out constancy on us and make our steps firm Help us against those that reject faith."{8}
Transliteration Rabbana la tuzigh quloobana baAAda ith hadaytana wahab lana min ladunka rahmatan innaka anta alwahhabu
Literal Our Lord, do not deviate from truth our hearts/minds after when You guided us, and grant/present for us from at You a mercy, that you are the grantor/presenter.
"Our Lord!" (they say), "Let not our hearts deviate now after Thou hast guided us, but grant us mercy from Thine own Presence; for Thou art the Grantor of bounties without measure.{9}
Transliteration Rabbana innaka jamiAAu alnnasi liyawmin la rayba feehi inna Allaha la yukhlifu almeeAAada
Literal Our Lord, that you are gathering/collecting the people to a day/time no doubt in it. That God does not break the appointment.
"Our Lord! Thou art He that will gather mankind Together against a day about which there is no doubt; for Allah never fails in His promise."{286}
Transliteration La yukallifu Allahu nafsan illa wusAAaha laha ma kasabat waAAalayha ma iktasabat rabbana la tu-akhithna in naseena aw akhta/na rabbana wala tahmil AAalayna isran kama hamaltahu AAala allatheena min qablina rabbana wala tuhammilna ma la taqata lana bihi waoAAfu AAanna waighfir lana wairhamna anta mawlana faonsurna AAala alqawmi alkafireena
Literal God does not burden/impose a self except its endurance/capability, for it what it earned/acquired and on it what it earned/acquired. Our Lord do not punish/blame us if we forgot or mistook/wronged. Our Lord and do not burden/load on us a weight/crime, as you burdened/loaded it on those from before us. Our Lord and do not burden/load us what (there is) no power/ability/energy for us with it, and forgive/pardon on us, and forgive for us, and have mercy upon us, you are our guardian, so give us victory on/over the nation, the disbelievers.
On no soul doth Allah Place a burden greater than it can bear. It gets every good that it earns, and it suffers every ill that it earns. (Pray "Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget or fall into error; our Lord! Lay not on us a burden Like that which Thou didst lay on those before us; Our Lord! Lay not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Blot out our sins, and grant us forgiveness. Have mercy on us. Thou art our Protector; Help us against those who stand against faith."{16}
Transliteration Allatheena yaqooloona rabbana innana amanna faighfir lana thunoobana waqina AAathaba alnnari
Literal Those who say "Our Lord, that we truly believed, so forgive for us our crimes and protect us/make us avoid the fire's torture."
(Namely), those who say "Our Lord! we have indeed believed forgive us, then, our sins, and save us from the agony of the Fire;"-(continued)

Transliteration Wama lakum la tuqatiloona fee sabeeli Allahi waalmustadAAafeena mina alrrijali waalnnisa-i waalwildani allatheena yaqooloona rabbana akhrijna min hathihi alqaryati alththalimi ahluha waijAAal lana min ladunka waliyyan waijAAal lana min ladunka naseeran
Literal And for what (why) do you not fight/kill in God's sake? And the weakened from the men and the women, and the children/newborns, those who say "Our Lord, bring us out from this the village/urban city, the unjust/oppressive (to) its people, and make for us from at You a guardian/victorior/ally, and make for us from at You a savior/supporter."
And why should ye not fight in the cause of Allah and of those who, being weak, are ill-treated (and oppressed)?- Men, women, and children, whose cry is "Our Lord! Rescue us from this town, whose people are oppressors; and raise for us from thee one who will protect; and raise for us from thee one who will help!"{126}
Transliteration Wama tanqimu minna illa an amanna bi-ayati rabbina lamma jaatna rabbana afrigh AAalayna sabran watawaffana muslimeena

Literal Our Lord forgive for me and to my parents and to the believers, (on) the Account Day/Resurrection Day starts.
"O our Lord! cover (us) with Thy Forgiveness - me, my parents, and (all) Believers, on the Day that the Reckoning will be established!{10}
Transliteration Ith awa alfityatu ila alkahfi faqaloo rabbana atina min ladunka rahmatan wahayyi/ lana min amrina rashadan
Literal When the youths/servants took shelter/refuge to (in) the cave, so they said "Our Lord give/bring us from at You mercy and prepare/make possible for us from our matter/affair (a) correct/right guidance."
Behold, the youths betook themselves to the Cave they said, "Our Lord! bestow on us Mercy from Thyself, and dispose of our affair for us in the right way!"{109}
Transliteration Innahu kana fareequn min AAibadee yaqooloona rabbana amanna faighfir lana wairhamna waanta khayru alrrahimeena
Literal That it truly was a group from My worshippers/slaves saying "Our Lord, we believed, so forgive for us and have mercy upon us, and you are best (of) the merciful."
"A part of My servants there was, who used to pray 'our Lord! we believe; then do Thou forgive us, and have mercy upon us For Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!"{118}
Transliteration Waqul rabbi ighfir wairham waanta khayru alrrahimeena
Literal And say "My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and you are best (of) the merciful."
So say "O my Lord! grant Thou forgiveness and mercy for Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!"{30}
Transliteration Inna allatheena qaloo rabbuna Allahu thumma istaqamoo tatanazzalu AAalayhimu almala-ikatu alla takhafoo wala tahzanoo waabshiroo bialjannati allatee kuntum tooAAadoona
Literal That truly those who said "Our Lord (is) God." Then they became straight/direct, the angels descend on them (and say) "That you do not fear and nor be saddened/grieved, and be announced good news to with (about) the Paradise which you were being promised."
In the case of those who say, "Our Lord is Allah", and, further, stand straight and steadfast, the angels descend on them (from time to time) "Fear ye not!" (they suggest), "Nor grieve! but receive the Glad Tidings of the Garden (of Bliss), the which ye were promised!{13}

Literal That truly those who said "Our Lord (is) God" then they became straight/direct, so no fear/fright on them, and nor they be sad/grieving.

Transliteration Waallatheena jaoo min baAAdihim yaqooloona rabbana ighfir lana wali-ikhwanina allatheena sabaqoona bial-eemani wala tajAAal fee quloobina ghillan lillatheena amanoo rabbana innaka raoofun raheemun
Literal And those who came from after them, they say "Our Lord forgive for us, and to our brothers, those who preceded us with (to) the faith/belief, and do not make/put in our hearts/minds hatred/animosity to those who believed, our Lord, that you are merciful/compassionate, merciful."
And those who came after them say "Our Lord! Forgive us, and our brethren who came before us into the Faith, and leave not, in our hearts, rancour (or sense of injury) against those who have believed. Our Lord! Thou art indeed Full of Kindness, Most Merciful."{4}
Transliteration Qad kanat lakum oswatun hasanatun fee ibraheema waallatheena maAAahu ith qaloo liqawmihim inna buraao minkum wamimma taAAbudoona min dooni Allahi kafarna bikum wabada baynana wabaynakumu alAAadawatu waalbaghdao abadan hatta tu/minoo biAllahi wahdahu illa qawla ibraheema li-abeehi laastaghfiranna laka wama amliku laka mina Allahi min shay-in rabbana AAalayka tawakkalna wa-ilayka anabna wa-ilayka almaseeru
Literal A good example/model (to follow) had been for you in Abraham and those with him, when they said to their nation "We are innocent/separating from you, and from what you worship from other than God, we disbelieved with you, and the animosity and the intense hatred appeared between us and between you (for) ever (E), until you believe with (in) God alone." Except Abraham's word/statement to his father "I will ask for forgiveness for you, and I do not own/possess for you from God from a thing, our Lord, on You we relied depended (on), and to You we returned/repented, and to You (is) the end/destination."
There is for you an excellent example (to follow) in Abraham and those with him, when they said to their people "We are clear of you and of whatever ye worship besides Allah we have rejected you, and there has arisen, between us and you, enmity and hatred for ever,- unless ye believe in Allah and Him alone" But not when Abraham said to his father "I will pray for forgiveness for thee, though I have no power (to get) aught on thy behalf from Allah." (They prayed) "Our Lord! in Thee do we trust, and to Thee do we turn in repentance to Thee is (our) Final Goal.{5}
Transliteration Rabbana la tajAAalna fitnatan lillatheena kafaroo waighfir lana rabbana innaka anta alAAazeezu alhakeemu
Literal Our Lord do not make/put us (as) a test/allurement to those who disbelieved, and forgive for us, our Lord, that You truly are, You are, the glorious/mighty, the wise/judicious.
"Our Lord! Make us not a (test and) trial for the Unbelievers, but forgive us, our Lord! for Thou art the Exalted in Might, the Wise."NOTE The simplest way to glorify Allah with praise is ?Subhannallah? (Glory to Allah), and ?Alhamdulilaah? (Praise be to Allah). These are found in many ayaat of Al-Qur?an. They may be used, instead of the ones given, during the different times of rising and moving throughout As-Salaat. Allah has given us specific examples for certains positions such as sajdah, so one who is wise will choose the best of what Allah has given us in Al-Qur?an. For a person who is a new believer and hasn?t learned any or much Arabic yet, it would obviously be easier for them to fulfill the obligation of As-Salaat using the easiest amount of Arabic to recite, initially. Apart from the disagreements in the times of as-salawaat and the "qiblah", whether it is mental or physical, following are corrections of some minor typos and errors for the book
(1) The individual or group of believers that are to make As-Salaat should be conscious before the time of As-Salaat to have ample preparation and intention to perform As-Salaat in the time frame given by Allah to us in the Qur?an;
It should be "establish" or "perform".
(3) they should make sure that the person leading As-Salaat understands the ayah that they are going to be reciting;
It should be "ayaat".
Or/and in the second unit or sequence of As Salaat
"as-salaat" should be hyphenated.
STEP 14 In the position of Sujood, glorify Allah with praise with the Following words from Al-Qur?an
"following" should be with a small "f", not capital "F".
STEP 15 If you are completing performance of the first unit of As-Salaat, Glorify Allah with praise with the following or similar words from Al-Qur?an while moving back to the position of Qiyaam to begin The second unit of As-Salaat. After stating the following, Start the second unit of As-Salaat at STEP 7. (If this is the second unit of As-Salaat, then skip this step and proceed to step 16)

because "Glory be to You Allah the Exalted" it more direct, it is said directly to Allah
and "Glory to Allah" seems to be in 3rd person, especially if translated to bosnian. -

I think that any words from Al Quran that are recited exactly as they are written in a contectual manner, will be acceptable to use during As Salaat as long you as seek to understand their content, meaning and purpose. Allah knows best.

Lahri, much of how you have stated to perform As-Salaat here I agree with, and a little I don't. Nevertheless I think there is definitely enough consensus on some items to begin a dialogue for those who agree with this for the most part.
So I am inviting those of you on the forum who agree to some extent with what lahri19 has presented here to speak up so that we may know who all of us are. Maybe then we can start a separate thread on here with common ground of those who believe that performing As-Salaat is a physical ritual that leads to mental and spiritual growth, Allah willing.
If you are in agreement with at least having a common ground starting point, you don't have to add or subtract from what is given here, but you can just simply reply here to let us know that we are somewhat on the same page. Then we can begin from there, Allah willing.

Although I don't agree to use any words when performing As-Salaat other than those in the EXACT way that they are used in Al Quran, I do believe agreement can be made based on that because there are still a finite number of ayaat that discuss the performance of As-Salaat. If those who see it as a function take our time in studying and dialoguing on those ayaat without interference from those who don't believe it is a "ritual", then we will come to some agreements based on "shura", Allah willing. Therefore if we ever meet together, we will be able to offer As-Salaat in congregation instead of as individuals who don't agree on anything, Allah willing.

I agree with most of brother Lahri's suggested way to perform salaat but strongly disagree with the "qibla" being a physical building or a physical direction.
I have stated this before also but to reiterate, in my understanding the "qibla" is mental and not physical and not ONLY for salaat, according to al-qur'aan. We are asked to keep our target/goal/"qibla" the inviolable institution of obedience/"al-masjid al-haraam" WHEREVER we are (2144, 2149, 2150). It is IMPOSSIBLE to face a physical building WHEREVER one is. For example, we are allowed to establish salaat while walking or riding in case of fear (2239). How can you face a physical building if you are walking or riding on horseback or driving a car away from the direction of a physical building, and wish to establish salaat ?
Actually, the "qibla" is not ONLY for salaat, so to face a certain physical direction WHEREVER one is (and not just for salaat) would be physically IMPOSSIBLE. This would mean that we cannot even drive a car or walk facing away from the direction of a certain physical location; we cannot even sit down to watch television or eat while facing away from a certain physical location; we cannot even sit in the restroom while facing away from a certain physical location !! What about when one is on the Moon with the Earth on the other side ? What about when one is IN the certain physical building ?
The God is everywhere; piety is not to face east or west, and physical direction is completely irrelevant (2115, 2142, 2177). If "al-masjid al-haram" is interpreted as a physical building/location it will cause a lot of impossibilities as far as "qibla" is concerned, thus causing contradictions/inconsistancies in al-qur'aan. Please see the links at the end for the relevant points.
Please keep in mind that since these posts, my interpretation of "al-masjid al-haraam" has changed from "the institution of obedience of the forbidden" to "the inviolable institution of obedience", which is grammatically more correct and has a broader meaning which is in harmony with "al-masjid al-haraam" being defined as the truth from our Lord according to al-qur'aan (2144, 2149).
