I guess the program was Decoding The Past The Quran. I watched it myself and it was not bad. From it I learned that Muslims in the past resorted to hadiths not because they 'worshipped' Muhammad but merely because Al Quran was open to many intepretations so in order to unite in terms of belief they decided to look upon hadiths for guidance.

Yeah it was that one. That was a good one.
What did that programme say about him?
Most historians I know depict him as a violent man who spread Islam by the sword.
Most non-Muslims I know only had an interest in Islam after 9/11.

peaceYes, I am an American. I don't remember it saying much about the spread of Islam violently except for the attack of Mecca. I gained an intrest in Islam after 9/11 because I was in 3rd or 4th grade in 2001 and didnt really understand what was happening.

I find it funny how video game lead me to free-minds. I play Rome Total War and was on twcenter.net talking to others about the up-coming release of Medieval total war 2. Then I found someone's signature on the forum and found free-minds. Then I found the forum because I am a forum freak.
