Quran Only Mystic/Saint/Pure ????

Have you ever heard of a Quran Only person who has had at least the reputation to be a Mystic/Saint/Pure ????

Many here will disagree with me but I always found the Sufis more Koranic than the strict theologians of Sunni/Shia Islam. This is because in their madrasas, they usually stick to Arabic and Koranic memorization and recitation. Plus they are not as obsessed with fiqh as the theologians are. Sufis differ in the sense of their attachment with piety. They see piety as a connection between man and God. Most of all, Sufis are mostly apolitical but they differ from country to country. The Sufis in Sudan are more fiqh oriented than in Morocco or Tunisia or Indonesia. The Sufis in Egypt I don't know much about. There is also universalist Sufism like Inayat Khan followers in America. They are the closest in my mind to the Koranic persuasion than the others. Islamic fiqh is the most distant from the Koran and I see the more you hold on to them the further you will get from the Koran.
