This is a very interesting debate on The Debates regarding the right of return of the Palestinians

    http//clients.mediaondemand.net/thedohadebates/index.aspx?sessionid=22&bandwidth=hi

Anyway, after watching the Doha Debates for a while I begin to think that there should be a motion regarding the Hadith issue. I think it would be very important and interesting. Moreover, the debate would broadcast and seen by large audience all over the Middle East.

    Peace,

And that will be the last show they ever put on. P
They can be as "controversial" and "progressive" as they want about anything, but not when it comes to their sacred religion. elektro

And also hadith is the right tool for the Western media to run their propaganda campaign against the Islam. Why would they cut their own hands? Knowledge is power and no one likes power in the others hands.

The Doha Debates is funded by the Qatar Foundation, so I dont think it is a western media. As for the fear of backlash from Muslims, I think many Muslims in the Middle East especially in prosperous countries such as the Gulf States are open minded enough to welcome very sensitive debates like the Hadith issue. In my opinion they just have not thought about it as a good topic.
