    I was discussing with my daughter about magic. Based on conventional wisdom she said. How come magic is not real true, since even prophet was put under influence of magic. Is not Sura AlFalq for protection from magic? Hence I did this linguistic based translation, just to share and comments. In green is standard from openburhan

    Surah 113 - Al-Falaq

    1131

    Say I seek refuge with the Lord of the Dawn

    Whenever you error and want to aspire to eminence again. Turn to the light that originates from your rearer, foster, nourisher and accomplisher. For the protection and preservation

    1132

    From the mischief of created things;

    from the moral and physical evils, which are inconsistent with measures of your creation

    1133

    From the mischief of Darkness as it overspreads;

    and from resultant darkness of these moral and physical evils. Whenever encountering such darkness

    1134

    From the mischief of those who practice secret arts;

    and from moral and physical evils of enchanters; as these lead to poor judgment and management in conducting/ ordering or regulating affairs.

    1335

    And from the mischief of the envious one as he practices envy

    and from moral and physical evils of envying; whenever feeling envious.

      I dont think that chapter 113 is specifically talking about magic.

      1131 Say, I seek refuge with the Lord of the rising dawn.

      1132 From the evil aspects of created things

      1133 From the evil of darkness as it falls,

      1134 From the evil of all human beings bent on occult endeavours

      1135 From the evil of the envious when they envy

      I am no longer a Sunna-rejecter. See 4:59-65, 62:2-4, 3:31, 4:156, 7:157 Messenger teaches and is to be followed and obeyed. Examples of revelation received which is not in the Qur'an: 3:123-126, 33:37, 2:187, 66:3, 62:9.
