my quest to the truth including a dream of God

well about january of last year i decided to search for a quran in my own language, and lo behold the more i read the more i was disturbed about how sunnis can be this way (contradicting the Quran over and over etc...) born and raised as a liberal sunni and not an extremist thank God or my mind would've been turned off...
anyways i was in a relationship couple of years ago with someone that cheated on me and i decided to forgive them (what an idiot i was for that) but she had a dream much earlier that she was in a room and the room fills with light and it says 'i am God' and God told her to leave me (this before she confessed what she did) and i refused to believe the dream was from God, fast forward and after i found out what she had done i went through a major depression phase, and i realised if i had only listened to God's sign none of this would be happening, and here i am. My life is so much better for it. Now i am married to a wonderful woman who is truthful, and is loyal and would never think of another man. Thank God for that.

Remember that dreams are thought to be your body analysing what you saw in the day.
So, you know, when "God" tells you to "leave someone" after you've cheated on them...

Ok then my confusion grows even more.
His ex-girlfriend had a dream after cheating on him, he refused to acknowledge that dream, and now he's learnt his lesson.

This is a good example of how God helps us. What was bad, and put you through major depression, was changed by God. Now you have a good woman, and married to her as well. Congratulations!
