Who is being addressed as rasool?

Building up on Progod's argument that the Quran is more likely to be a narrative from the "controllers" or "forces of nature" or "angels" or whatever you like to call them (based on the switching between "I" and "We" and so far, that no verse in the Quran ascribes explicitly God-like properties when "We" is used), who is being addressed as the messenger of God, for instance, when it is written "Obey Allah and his messenger"? Is it Muhammad as all the narrators put in brackets or is it someone else, or is it generic?

the messenger could be the quran, thats where the messengers' lives are free of conjecture

Another Q, when it is said "Allah and his messenger", is the wording plural? We cannot make a distinction between prophets as in 2285, so it cannot really be referring to one specific human.
