true, but even so, there must have been somebody who was the leader for the first humans. i still say there's 25 of them.

              Peace jonny_k,

"Adam" was not a signle human but referes to the first evolved HUMANS on earth on the African continent. GOD Bless!

Where exactly in the evolutionary tree do you draw the human line; when chromosome #2 supposedly fused and apes miraculously gave birth to 46 chromosome humans?

Question then is who did this first miracle baby Adam mate with ? an ape called Eve?

              Then their offspring will have 23 + 24 = 47 chromosomes not 46.

Or was Adam?s mate another miracle baby with chromosome #2 also fused?

              Which then is true?

              1. 48 chromosome apes via DNA mutation gave birth to 46 chromosome humans who then populated the world.

              OR

              1. 46 chromosome humans were created as such then populated the world.

727 O ye CHILDREN OF ADAM! Let not Satan seduce you, in the same manner as He got your parents out of the Garden, stripping them of their raiment, to expose their shame for he and his tribe watch you from a position where ye cannot see them We made the evil ones friends (only) to those without faith.

1636 For We assuredly sent amongst every People an apostle, (with the Command), "Serve Allah, and eschew Evil" of the People were some whom Allah guided, and some on whom error became inevitably (established). So travel through the earth, and see what was the end of those who denied (the Truth).

SHAKIR O people! be careful of (your duty to) your Lord, Who created you from a single being and created its mate of the same (kind) and spread from these two, many men and women; and be careful of (your duty to) Allah, by Whom you demand one of another (your rights), and (to) the ties of relationship; surely Allah ever watches over you.

                http//www.gate.net/~rwms/hum_ape_chrom.html

Some may raise the objection that if the fusion was a naturalistic event, how could the first human ancestor with the fusion have successfully reproduced? We have all heard that the horse and the donkey produce an infertile mule in crossing because of a different number of chromosomes in the two species. Well, apparently there is more to the story than we are usually told, because variations in chromosome number are known to occur in many different animal species, and although they sometimes seem to lead to reduced fertility, this is often not the case. Refs 5, 6, and 7 document both the existence of such chromosomal number differences and the fact that differences do not always result in reduced fertility. I can provide many more similar references if required. The last remaining species of wild horse, Przewalski's (sha-val-skis) Wild Horse has 66 chromosomes while the domesticated horse has 64 chromosomes. Despite this difference in chromosome number, Przewalski's Wild Horse and the domesticated horse can be crossed and do produce fertile offspring (see reference 9).

It's a good thing you're being skeptical, however.

Wrong, only some of these were Messengers, i.e. Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, Jesus (alaihum salaam), and of course, Muhammad (alaihi salatu wa salaam). The rest were ordinary Prophets.

JK- Your obviously influenced too much by the Bible. There aint no Eve in the Quran. As i told you the chromosmes fused in the exact same positions on the genome where there were originally 48 in the apes. This has been shown through DNA sequecning. Furthermore i gave you evidence of endogenous retroviruses and even provided you with the link which you obviosuly didnt bother to read. GOD Bless!

JK- This shows ignorance of evolution. Favorable traits are passed on. The fusion occured due to a purpose and it was not necessarily just in one ape like creature but in many. Those when they mated then continued this trait. Also even if only one had fused and tht was favorable trait even if he mated with one tht hadnt yet a fused one the favorable trait cld still be passed on. Thats how natural selection works on the genetic level. GOD Bless!

                                Or

Created some germ predecessor of ALL life and its mate; then from them TWO ALL creatures (which TWO?); germs, pre-Apes, Ape, post-Ape?

                                Could be either actually.

What's your view on the origin of life and man then? Aside from "God created us" which doesn't explain how?

Well origin of life definitely God created everything; As Qur'an says, look around you?

200 billion stars with 200 billion galaxies ? ?bang? all from nothing!

Then the countless billions of different species seen and ?unseen? with many dying out with nothing knew popping.

As far people go, I was installing a granite kitchen slap last month thinking how freaking heavy is this and realized how 10,000 years ago people were messing around with granite slaps the size of a small house?lol

Ever wonder why in last few thousand years? people went from cave drawings to space ships and discovering how to split genes while closest animals in intelligence are apes and pigs?

Then I?ve had dreams of future events which happened exactly dreamed ? kind of floating through space-time?lol

So yeah even though molecularly all living things are composed of water molecules and may share similar code; man is definitely different!

                                  Peace

What I want to know is how you think life came about. It must obey the laws of physics, of course?

The question is HOW, not "WHO". "WHO" is assumed to be God.

We know the mechanics of how life reproduces?

As to HOW the original DNA code or ?blueprints? which is present in each one of our trillions of cells to make another one of us came about, we can only go so far and ultimately end up with ? ?Be? and it is!

The Poof, There It Is Theory is one of the most popular theories used to explain the creation of the universe. The theory is quite complex but it can be simplified to something like this

                                        In the beginning, there was no universe, and then;

                                        POOF!

                                        There it was.
