Qiblah
-
Was looking in Muheetul-Muheeti today and saw a couple of definitions for Qiblah
The most important to me was Kullu maa yustaqbalu
Which means anything, place or person that one turns one's face towards, goes to to meet, steps or goes to, confronts or faces or recieves.
The other meanings were
jihatun A direction,
Al-Ka'bati The kaabah
allattee yusallaa nahwahu What one prays towards.

mustaqbilun - proceeding towards, heading towards.
Kullu maa yustaqbalu is related to the above form of the word. (it is the active passive present tense verb).
That means that a qiblah is also 'that which one proceeds towards or heads towards' This is the reason why I have used a place of convening.Godbless,
