I suggest to buy Muhammed Asad's or Ahmed Ali's. PM me your email and I can send a PDF of it to you.

My personal favourite is the translation by M.A.S.Abdel Haleem ( http//tinyurl.com/2hjdkb ). It uses everyday English and is very easy to read and understand.

I have quite a few English translations. M.A.S.Abdel Haleem's is nice but I still prefer Muhammad Asad's. I would always recommend verification/study of any translation however, no matter which one you pick.

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

i believe you're referring to abdullah yusuf ali, he was a traditional, but for a traditional his translation is not bad and its one of the most popular

are you unable to buy off the internet?

i do have an extra copy of 'the message' (free-minds' translation) but there's the trust issue otherwise i'd have been more than happy to send it to you no charge

              Peace,

I personally would recomend The Message available on this site as the better English translation out there.

You can dowload the word version from this site, or the PDF version from http//proofs.iuniverse.com/0595290353/0595290353b.pdf

I'll see if I can get The Message. I prefer hard back and the hard back is $30, so it might take a while to earn the money for it.

OK, tell me why I can't read the Quran in my own language. Isn't the message meant for all people?
