how i came to islam

    salam alikium . my journey started when i lived in scotland a good friend of mine met amuslim man and theygot married my friend asked me how would i feel if she married and became a muslim i said to her if he makes u happy then this is for u and it didthey had ababy girl. ilost touch with her when i went to england to live.later my nxt brush with islam was when my mum moved to turkey and i heard the calla to prayer most moving. i then visted my local mosque at the uni where i liveand saw the salat . i also looked on the net about islam and found freeminds and thought this is good a good and honest site some others have bin very extreme i thought gods not like that and have bin reading the quran consitly i also looked up the hadiths and sunna and thought what is this its confusing i thought the koran was the only book i need the ten commandments are there i am still learning lots and inshallah more people will see islam as i do wa sallam
