To say that ?alnnajmi? in 531 is Sirius in 5349 is just a baseless extrapolation ; I can?t see a direct connection between these two verses 531 and 5349.

2185. A month or ramadhan, in which the quran was sent down as a guide to the people and a clarification of the guidance and the criterion. Therefore, whoever of you can observe the season, then let him fast therein. And whoever is ill or traveling, then the same number from different days. God wants to bring you ease and not to bring you hardship; and so that you may complete the count, and glorify God for what He has guided you, that you may be thankful.

5349 ? xi And that He it is Who is the Lord of the brightest star, the human intellect.

5350 ? xii And that He it is Who annihilated the former tribe of Aad. (They were men of intellect but refused to establish the Divine System (765). A wrong system, however smartly run, is bound to collapse).
