    Salam.

I was also asked to ask this question"What is belief."?
I mean, the guy wants to know, if i know that is, how come i believe in The God, Whom i cannot see, but i do not believe in the sunna and the hadith when they are visible.

May The Exalted God The Most Merciful forgives us all our sins.
May The God The Most Powerful gives us more strength against devil and the bad people.
May The Exalted God The Most Wise gives us more wisdom.
May The Exalted God The Most High guides us all on the Straight Path and into The eagrley awaited and so wanted Paradise.

    Peace.

belief is a word that within its definition is Believe. Believe is "to have confidence in the truth, the existence, or the reliability of something, although without absolute proof that one is right in doing so" . I believe this to be sufficient for me.

I mean, the guy wants to know, if i know that is, how come i believe in The God, Whom i cannot see, but i do not believe in the sunna and the hadith when they are visible.

I believe the thought process behind the above to be lacking much reason. There are many books and stories that are written & "visible" that I don't believe are reliable, nor that which I have confidence in their reliability.

I Do BELIEVE In The Hadith..

I DO BELIEVE both of the Sunni's and Shia's volume of Hadiths are fabricated by men.
I DO BELIEVE both of the Sunni's and Shia's volume of Hadiths contains many falsehood and lies.

Belief in my view is just another word for perception. We could look at a flower and be asked to describe it, I could say its red. While you might say its yellow, both of us could be wrong and yet right (if both are speaking truthfuly) at the same time. Like if the lighting of the sun changed the color. It is of one color, but neither of us were wrong because that is the color you saw. Then we also must consider that both of us are wrong and the color is blue.

The same thing could be said about God, one of us could be right or wrong, even both of us could be wrong. But what you see is your perception of God, and you believe its true, so to you it is true.

          So basicaly, Religion/belief=personal perception.
