    Peace

These people sicken me, what sickens me even more is that the American supported Salafists actually control alot of mosques and insitutions, so generally watch what you say around many of these ignorant morons

I have heard this too, particularly in those undercover videos (mainly UK stuff though).

    Peace

Oh really? How do you know that?

I know it because alot, well to be honest, I'd say all mosques in the UK are run by people who have the salafi mindset, it's a complex issue and also involves race but basically, the Saudi Arabian royal family took on Wahabbism as they came to power, they export all kinds of books and leaflets exporting their interpretation of Islam, one of the biggest beneficiaries is Pakistan, who in turn prints alot of it's own books.

Then what you have is a loada Muslims in the UK, many of whom have read nothing but the Arabic Qu'ran (i.e. they don't understand what it means) and sport this mentalitly. Look at all the mosques where some of the infamous hate-preachers and bombers have come from and you'll see they're all salafi-run. Other British people can tell you, but the majority of Mosques in the UK are presided over by such individuals.

          Salamun alaikum

If the Wahhabis follow The Quran and so against Shirk , then why would they perpetuate The Stone-Worship in Mecca and continue placing prophet Muhammad besides Allah ? brickwall

          Peace

Besides mosques, departments of islamic studies in most of, if not all, the universities in the UK are sponsored by Saudi Arabia, and they may even choose its Chair or some of the prof/lecturers.

Because they do not own that place, the muslim world do. I still do not understand what shirk has to do with it. Nobody is saying that stone is a god.

                    Peace,

So who gets to go to Mecca to do Pilgramage? Can Shias go? Is it mostly Wahabbis there? How can anyone get along with different sects all trying to kill each other?

                    Peace

NO! They are not even close. Infact they are exactly opposite, only they are less ignorant then other sunni and shia sects.

Anyone who has papers that pove he/she is a muslim, even shia. Religious police stands near the tomb of the prophet to prevent people from praying towards it, even if they have to beat them up. But generally speaking, shia have a "better" place to do hajj to, at the shrine of some imam in the city of ""Qum" in Iran, where they perform tawaaf around the shrine.

Wahabism is the official sect of Saudi Arabia. Pilgrims come from all over the world and all sects of "islam".

Ditto on the Living and Ditto on the University, although we've made sure our Islamic Society is not run by Wahabbists.
