Is the quran teaching you to convert people or make them more peaceful?

It is sad when people break up their relations by trying to convert others from ritualistic worship- although i wouldn't accept any of my kids doing ritualistic things to the extent of........, but i can't obviosly expect this from other people. So as long as others are peaceful individuals they can carry on with their rituals any day, i would rather have good relations from day to day with people of any religion.

why don't we see this guy on the forum any more? may be he tried converting his parents........and got banned from coming here...........i wonder, what do you think?
