I know a sunni moslem,who dont listen music,he think music is haram.When I asked to show me aya about music from Koran,he could nt do it,even show hadeeth.He says he like to listen music,but...."I personally think music is haraam"....Oo santa simplicy! D
If somebody feels that listening music makes him feel less closer to God,its ok,but nobody has right to preach that music is haram. -

personally, i think the mystic words found at the start of certain surahs are coordinates (not by what they say but what they ARE, ie. alphabet of Earth)
the chapters that start like this contain names and places and events that are Earth specific. there could be similar events on other worlds, that i why most chapters do not star like this. they are all from the Mother Database at the end of the day. -
I ultimatly fail at trying to understand letters from outerfrance.
What i mean is, you know japanese, chinese, arab... these languages use letter that are like symbols or stuff like that.
How do i fix that, freemind? When it's in phoenetic, i can unederstand. But when it's the original letter, it's really hard.

Try a madrassa, they teach you the glyphs P
I have problems with anything non-latin or with a different S/V/O order too.

By the way, about carrying out a "salat" in an audible and moderate voice, I'd like to add a view.
17110 Say "Call on God or call on the Almighty. Whichever it is you call on, for to Him are the best names." And do not be too loud in making your connection, nor too quite; but seek a path in between.
This manner of moderate voice, as I understand by seeing the verse as a whole, is about when you "call" on to God, don't be too loud or too quiet; but seek a path in between.
I understand that the "Call on" translation is mapped from Dal-Ayn-Waw = to seek, desire, ask, demand, call upon, invoke, ascribe, cry out, call out to, pray, supplicate, petition, require, need, summon, invite, assert, succour. (e.g. 'daAAa' in phonetic search engine).
Adopted son (adiya, pl. of da'iy).Therefore, I understand that this occurance of the word salat/connection is about the thing right infront of it in the same verse. So, when I want to call on God, asking him for guidance/help/etc, I do so in this prescribed manner.
There are many commandments in the Quran, and we should honor them - but we must first be sincere about it sincerely verify the existence of God, verify/test that this Quran is the message of God or not... We want to worship God, not the Quran or any book.
You normally always see the word salat (connection) or aqemoussalat (honor the connection) after/before/near commandments. Let's see the context and harmony. The messenger brought a "message", a message is not a collection of unrelated words/sentences, let's understand the message as a whole - if God so wills.
