New OURBEACON layout and functions website

Salaam Aleikum,
I'm glad to announce the complete new website of the OurBeacon Group
Its contains many new features, including online Quran As It Explains Itself (in short QXP) with Arabic text and dictionary, a Blog that will be written by Dr.Shabbir on a frequent basis and a library of recommended readings which contains many progressive writings on Islam, history, science and the Quranic message.
We will in the future enhance the website with more blogs written by other people and promote projects that include typing out hardcopy books into digital versions and projects run by Wakas's StudyQuran site.
Next to this, a new organisation has started in Europe which will focus on publishing and translating progressive Muslim writings and creating lectures and projects in mosques. More information on this will come soon.

No, the organisation was started by Dr.Shabbir in 1989. I joined it almost 2 years ago and have been running the show since. The new website is one of the first changes I made together with the webdesigners. Now we are constantly creating new ideas for books and other projects.
