Artificial Intelligence & Life on other Planets, how would you say Islam fits?

Seeing as Artificial Intelligence may be possible, and also the probability of their being other life out there, how would you say Islam fits? Not Islam as Quran, but as the deen. I just watched a show yesterday and checked on it today and apparently human calculation is at about 10^16, or 20 Million Billion (?) per second. The Blue Gene supercompter in 2005 I believe was at about 10^15 and they believe that by 2010, the supercomputer will surpass human calculations and by 2020 it will be in personal computers. Ive also read a few things on robotics and they are developing skin that 9 out of 14 people said felt like real skin, as well as feeling for the skin. Many body parts are being made mechanically and its only progressing. Now, its not the body parts thats important, but the conscious level? Bringing to that point, what if nanobots copied all of our brain and stored that as data? Is that itself alive? What exactly constitutes being alive? Confusing stuff.
As far as other lives, I think there are. Water, as in the Quran says, is necessary for all life. Science even states this. Theres comets that are frozen ice, and theres planets in our solar system as well as moons that scientists believe have water.
So how exactly would these two things fit in regards to Islam in your opinion? Will they all be judged like us, or is it just Humans that are the ones that are going to be judged? Like animals and all other creations who wont be judged but will return to God. Or, were they put on these planets like us to be tested as well?

I say, good. Let people do what people will. There is no way we can override God's will or limitations - the limitations and will that we override is our own, as humanity.
So, if artificial people exist, it changes very little. It would almost definitely be "unnatural", though, until Earth changes to make a new cycle based on it.

Computers are dumb fast adding machines programmed to ?think? as you or I would think ? impossible to program imagination as people imagine life on other planets or making love to movie star perhaps?lol
Same as with DNA; our body with trillion cells each has complete code using 4 bit chemical sequences where everything is programmed including copy, auto error correction, delete account/death, etc., which computers can simulate and predict...

Similar programs can be written to simulate earthquakes, weather, or even nuclear reactions. Which reminds me, have to follow with the guys running Blue Gene and help architect more "memory" to make it faster; 32TB DRAM is not enough.

Computers used to be the size of houses and yet werent even close to a billion times the speed of our Personal Computers. Same with memory and other factors. What exactly determins imagination as you put it? It still is something chemically going on in our brain, which if thats the case in some time should be able to be simulated.
As for the DNA, they apparently are making DNA computers too. Not that it has anything to do with the subject, but just the fact that they are using DNA itself to run calculations. I believe the current use is only good and more effficient for a keyhole combination.
Going back, what exactly makes us human? Artificial hearts, limbs, etc. its only a matter of time until the entire body can become artificial. Would that make us less human or alive? And what about the opposite with computers. What if we give them biological bodies when we are able to successfully grow our own organs, the current debate with stem cells?
