    Peace brothers and sisters.

1750 Say Even if you be stones or metal.

Freeminds translation is the only one I've noticed that has "metal" and not iron... any info would be appreciated.

What is the day of assembly, according to other believers in the Quran alone?

Praise be to God, peace and patience be with you all.

have you cross referenced the arabic for the term "day of assembly"?

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

            peace,

what i would do is use a website such as corpus.quran.com and look up the verse i was referencing, then it gives the word by word english/arabic, then once i know what word i wanted to study, you can either click on it to give you all occurrences in The Quran, or once you know the root of the word (which that site also gives you) you can use http//www.studyquran.co.uk/PRLonline.htm

            Also see www.StudyQuran.org for resources

              Peace!

Thank you Wakas, very nice of you ) I've never cross referenced before so your info might come in very handy... To the other brother; it might help to be more polite, we are all busy and I just asked "how would I go about cross referencing", I didn't ask you to cross reference it for me. Peace be with both of you.

                peace xthug,

With the resources/tools available these days, it is extremely easy to study The Quran in detail. Hence my constant recommending of sites such as www.StudyQuran.org

If you utilise cross-reference, you will find, like many others who use this technique, that the quality of your study will improve dramatically. Many have attested to this in the forum, directly and indirectly.
