However, is form of Plural fractus/ . In addition, primary root meanings of this root , from Lane is "He collected together the thing; put it or drew, it together; part to part, or portion to portion".

If one were to put, above root meaning together with the form/. Wouldn't these two put together would suggest a meaning "he collected multiple things (sources of knowledge) together".
