Have I sopped seeing?

I am a convert since a long time ago. I have had ups and downs, the latter due overwhelmingly to the think crust of straneous adherences to islam. I could tie perfectly with the clarity, armony and beauty of the Quran, the powerful impressi??n of beeing adressed REALLY by God. But got diluted with the multitude of silly points that assailed one or just a few points but very prominent, very unfounded and very insulting.
Is is funny, you get such warm welcoming when you become a muslim and see the light... but when you continue seeing the light what you get is that "you want a religion made to suit your convenience"and not islam. "you have to accept the whole thing, not just what pleases you". No matter that you fast the Ramadan, that you pray, that you don't drink spirits nor eat pork, just to mention some of the most standard dos and don'ts, if you still don't swear by any nonsense disguised as religious precept, then you are following your own convenience and not islam.
So that kind of islam that when you are determined to continue seeing calls it sin is a supplantation and I am so glad that there is a reaction to it. I think the reaction should be stronger, though not angry or hostile.
I wish and I pray that Allah who revealed the truthful quran will remove blindness from so many minds and hearts and guide us all.

548 And We have sent down to you the Scripture with truth, authenticating what is present of the Scripture and superseding it. So judge between them by what God has sent down, and do not follow their desires from what has come to you of the truth. For each of you We have made laws, and a structure; and had God willed, He would have made you all one nation, but He tests you with what He has given you; so strive to do good. To God you will return all of you, and He will inform you regarding that in which you dispute.
It seems we should embrace the differences and learn from them. As important as it is learning what is 'good' and 'right', it's just as important learning what's 'bad' and 'wrong'.
