Pray to God that whoever owns this gets it translated ASAP, and lets the world know the truth of the earliest recordings!!

I am so excited about the possibility!

Thank you for this information. It might be the oldest known Quran "written in Gold" as it stated at the link, but it is far from being the oldst Quran known. Where in the world you got such a false assertion? I have seen Quran manuscripts dating back to the 7th and 8th century.

      Peace,
      Edip

        Peace

Whats the difference? The quran is guaranteed it's pristine state from day one!The gold and silver trimmings does not change the message in the quran.

YUSUFALI The Signs of Allah have they sold for a miserable price, and (many) have they hindered from His way evil indeed are the deeds they have done.
PICKTHAL They have purchased with the revelations of Allah a little gain, so they debar (men) from His way. Lo! evil is that which they are wont to do.
SHAKIR They have taken a small price for the communications of Allah, so they turn away from His way; surely evil is it that they do.

How unfortunate that such invaluable items fall into private hands.

A fitting statement, given that there could be things of importance in that copy of the quran.

                  Salam,

The only difference I that I was implying was that perhaps, by the owners generosity, if the public should be able to see it, I was hoping that people may be enlightened from its age and its truth, and that perhaps many sunni scholars would also be inspired to explore the quran further rather than hadiths, now I know you may say well they don't explore it as they should now or don't follow god only now, but perhaps seeing something so old would make them reconsider their standpoint, just my hopes.

                    Salam Edip,

My apologies if I was incorrect, it was the impression I got in the article. You are very lucky to have seen and possibly read (?) Something so ancient! )

Also, to those who have said in their replies about how this quran Is like no big deal because its the same words now, I beg to differ. If you notice in some posts here we discuss translation issues and root issues, this is the whole reson why we have the quran translated and published now by some members of this site, so that it can be closest to its purest and truest root words. Anyhow that aside, I just see the benefits in everything I supposen so no worries if you disagree with me.
