Im looking for God all of my life and even if I am there I find myself sarching

Assalamu alaicum(Peace to you)
I entered the convent, and leave it in pursuit of God because I find God much more comprehensive than what Catholics see God. I went to a christian group but it just lead me to be fixed to marriage so I fled because that is unfair. Then I become a muslim causing me to almost loose my job (Alhamdulillah-thank God I did not), then was married to a man who claims to teach me Islam (he is sheikh) but we divorced because he want us to divorce and I agreed because I find him unIslamic in his way of dealing with me and other women. I want pure Islam and I did not stop looking for true Islam even if I'm being laughed at by my family because now I'm alone even if life is a bit tough, I can see the logic of it. Then I found this site, I was just looking for the right meaning of salat because I am practicing Islam even if everybody laugh at me. I am struggling yet I find myself slowly seeing what true Islam is all about, that is the most important thing for me nowWEL COME welcome

peace, Sister. finding Truth amid conflict and people's "vain imaginings" is often painful and difficult. but i believe that peace and truth is our ultimate return, and that God is with those who seek Him.

thanks sisters and brothers I am happy to be with people who knows the TRUE nature of God in their hearts and who are continually seeking God's true attributes. It took me so far before I saw this path and I know God is merciful because past things just pass and it does not matter if it hurt because I found what I am looking for. May God grant us to see true Islam and may God show us the fruits of true Islam. that is the best reward God willing

You write so beatyfull Vani,welcome to this site.Me myself are new here,i was born muslim,but after many years growing up un different muslim countries,through my parents job,I got very confused.
I found arabic culture wrapped with untrustable hadiths,proclaiming beeing Gods words.

Very nice to read your story. I respect your sincerity and efforts along the way to worship the one true God alone.
Just a few words for you in your difficult times
Just stick to the objective, no matter what any word might mean or any book might say - just be sincere to yourself that it is only the one true God alone you want to worship.
The creator of the heavens and the earth - the only true Force/Nature who craeted all things - surely knows who strives to worship Him alone. We do our good efforts and trust it Him - we submit to what we get to gain inner peace/happiness.
For me, inner peace/happiness = satisfied/submit/pleased with what you have got from your Lord (and thank Him so much for everything) - otherwise we'd be easily unhappy/worried. Talk/pray/ask sincerely to Him directly (I'm sure the creator of the heavens and the earth can hear from us).
Take it easy step by step, trust, submit & be happy with your Lord.

Same here. I just read an article about a christian political group here in the Netherlands wherein one of them says 'away with gay people'.
Idiots indeed! Where is the peace and love that the Almighty is preaching? Where did it go? It seems that religious groups only form obstacles instead of helping out humanity!
