the ummah - can learn from the jews

I really envy the Jewish community. I see how united they are as a people helping each other. If the CEO or director or president of a company is a Jew then helps in hiring other Jews. If a Jewish person moves to a neighbor, soon he has a community of people that he can turn to for help. There are ultra-orthodox jews to most liberal Jews but a Jew is a Jew and they are a strong community. I am yet to hear of hasidic jews killing non-hasidic jews.
Now, look at our community. We have sunnis killing shia, vice versa. Sunni's not accepting of non-sunnis. Arabs looking down at non-arabs. Look at us! We are not a community - no brotherhood, no sisterhood, nothing!
Someone from the mosque who had known me since a child, a friend of the families suddenly changes - his demeanor, his attitude, and to the point of not wanting to help. All upon learning that I don't follow hadiths. I feel really sad.

Respect.Perhaps these muslims that you encountered are not truthful regarding their Faith.
I've come across many people who perform excellent lip-service when it comes to their identity, they say they are muslims, they read Qur'an all day, pray, fast and do everything that Bukhary's hadeeth tells them. But,.....
....when it's time to do the smallest thing from The Best Hadeeth - Qur'an - then they fail, they stop, they run, they turn around and flee .....that is saaaaaad.This community right her eon the www.Free-Minds.org is the community that works, Thank God, Hvala Bogu, AlhamdilAllah, sure, it's scattered all around the globe but it doesn't matter, believers are strangers in this world, we'll be sitting opposite each other in Paradise, God willing in The Real Life.
