Where in the Quran Does It Say....

Assalaam Alaikum,
I'd like to know if someone can tell me where exactly in the Quran does it mention that a Muslim woman has to be married to a Muslim man? Why she can't be married to a non-Muslim man if he totally respects her religion and is not going to do anything to hinder her away from what she believes or how she believes.

=Anyone who CALLS themselves Muslims. If atheists call themselves Muslims they are automatic Muslims.
The way I see it is that if they follow the creeds of Islam, that is belief. To say that you believe in God or not is really not sufficient. For example, Christians say they believe in God. They do, but not without committing shirk at the same time, which makes them disbelievers. At the same time, even if you believe in the single God, what exactly does that mean? Once you ascribe an image to God, that is shirk. So I guess even those that call themselves Muslims can commit shirk by doing that alone.
Like I said, if they go by what the Quran says, I consider them believers, regardless of what they call themselves. Jew, Christian, Muslim and even Atheist. Im thinking thats what you meant?

Yes, that it's not our sayings that define us. It's our actions that define us. And most importantly not through our eyes, but through God's (without setting a human image for God) . He judges us. What we think we know is not equivalent to reality, necessarily . Realize that when he was dying even Pharoh called himself muslim. Now, we will make judgements (naturally) on a specific sects/religions/beliefs. But that doesn't mean that everyone under that 'title' are rejecters/idol-worshippers. I mean I have met christians who reject the trinity, or jesus being divine. I have known Buddhists who abhor the idea of Buddha being worhipped etc... I would define 'rejecters' and 'idol-worshippers' as simply truth denyers.

Yes, but anybody can do this. My point was that titles are meaningless.
