    Hello moderators/webpage administrator

I keep getting notifications from f-m in my private e-mail. This phenomena started a few days ago. This morning I had 57 notifications...

Tried stopping it, but it seems not to work, please help

It's very odd. I have notifications checked and I only received two in the last 6 months or so, before then things seemed to be working fine. Your notifications are shut off yet you're still getting them, it's very confusing. There can only be one solution...we should switch accounts as we both have something the other wants.

Or I could contact admin again.

You're probably subscribed to topics. Do your notifications not have some pattern or sense to them? I doubt they are random.

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

No, there is definitely something wrong somewhere. I started receiving notifications again a few days back after months of nothing, then nada even though I had received PM's in the middle and it's apparently working alright today...it's intermittent so it works sometimes and at other times it's like a vast emptiness and I start feeling lonely and hurt because I have no more emails coming in.

Ahh, if it works sometimes and not other times, then there is a likely restriction on the host server in terms of number of emails that can be sent from each account. They do this to prevent spammers. It is commonly set at several hundred per hour. If a forum gets large enough, this can lead to problems.

I recommend contacting the host to find out what restrictions are placed in terms of this, or what may be the possible causes if not this.

I've alerted Nadeem and Layth. Let's see how it goes.

                Hi,

Sorry for the late reply. I know we had some issues with the mailserver, which have been fixed now.
So I am wondering if this problem still persists. Please let me know, and I'll look into it.

                Regards,

                Nadeem
